    This is hilarious. A tech site banging on about Apples latest and greatest and the biggest feature appears to be a different casing. Ground breaking stuff indeed. Can we also please have articles when dell start making PC's in new colours, it will really help me keep up with the latest trends in PC fashion.

    Nope. TPB does not host any illegal content. All they have on there site is what is ostensibly text files saying "this guy (ip address) has this file (file name)".

    First, theres no such thing as an illegal monopoly. Second Netscape killed themselves and admit as much now. Third this behavior is nothing like IE, its easy to turn off and run something else should you choose. Google are just jumping on the chance to have a go at Microsoft.

    Competition law, known in the United States as antitrust law, has three main functions. Firstly, it prohibits agreements aimed to restrict free trading between business entities and their customers.
    Share of the market is irrelevant, trying to deny the market to others is the issue here.

    It's pathetic. He admits he freely stopped the site himself, he admits he obtained little or no support, he admits he received little direct media contact regarding the issue and then tries to make out there was some nebulous conspiracy to silence him which he was unable to fight. Personally I felt he was extremely lucky not to have been fired for using his employers computers for uploading to the site during work hours.

    Not too clued up on what dogma means either are we. Microsoft are hardly dogmatic compared to FOSS. MS will jump on whatever flavour of the month looks like a money maker for them and tell you its the latest and greatest.

    They probably haven't. The supposedly safe rubber bullets which were used extensively in Northern Ireland as partof crowd/riot control measures still managed to kill quite a lot of people, particularly those shot in the head or at close range, not to mention all the serious injuries caused.

    What if we're the ones living in a "post-cosmology universe," and the evidence for what really happened has faded so much that we can't detect it?
