Since you were too lazy to hit the link yourself try this: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/ Ok, that's done... I assume there will be no more questions.

HAHAHA, mormonism? You mean the scam religion? Dude, that is just sad that you buy into that scam. Joseph Smith was nothing more than a con-man. And why do people seeking to better the knowledge and learning of the human race hate america? I think the people taat really hate america are the people using their pseudo-religions to hold back our position of scientific prominence

  7. publically financed campaigns on Fallout from the Internet Debacle · · Score: 1

We need publicly financed campaigns. That is the onlyl solution to the current corrupt state of the government. Getting elected is expensive in the USA so our representatives are beholden to the big corporations that pay their bills. If we publically financed all campaigns then they would actually have to serve us well to get re-elected. Whether this will ever pass is doubtful. It's very sad that my great nation is run by a bunch of corrupt lawyers. James Madison/Thomas Jefferson would cry.

Most locals do not *choose* to work in sweatshops at all. What happens is that in exchange for US foreign aid countries agree to let US businesses in. They give these businesses land to build their factories. This land is usually being farmed by the local inhabitants. Since after the factory is built there is no more farm it's either work in the sweatshop or starve to death.

If only Macintosh would port OS/X to the x86 architecture problem solved. Actually if you are buying new hardware get a mac. OS/X rules and you can always run linux if you disagree. A little off topice, but OS/X is what linux w/KDE/Gnome should aspire to be (except that linux would be free of course)

  11. The easy way on Disconnecting · · Score: 1

Something similar to this happened to me. This is the easy way to cancel all memberships that are directly billed to your credit card. Send an e-mail to their customer service account saying you are cancelling the service. Then you simply inform your credit card that you are not accepting charges from that vendor anymore. This works everytime and takes 10-15 minutes. What's funny is they will try to call you and tell you there is a problem with billing. All you reply back is, "I cancelled your service, there is no problem, sorry if you didn't read my e-mail. BYE!" It's nice to put the onus back on the business once in awhile.
