    That's your opinion... and it's not universally shared within the industry. Pretty much any large financial institutioin, exchange, bank, etc would laugh you out of the room if you suggested deploying a mission critical large scale app on windows

    Nonsense..... sadly if you think this it means YOU aren't as good as a developer as you think you are. Java can scream with a skilled development team. You clearly don't have much experience with large scale enterprise applications

    That sounds like a great idea... making a language that can be used by less skilled developers that allows for quicker development Of course the flip side of this is the poor code that is produced and often terrible performance of applications.... not to mention high support costs Almost all of my customers use Java for their "real" / "heavy" applications...... of course the fact that most smart orgs use linux or unix to host their "real" apps plays a part in this

    Not true... it's often impossible to get health insurance that isn't through your employer. I tried to buy insurance for my wife once prior to our marriage and she was denied because she has mild asthma Denied...as in no coverage even though I was willing to pay for it even if it cost more... they actually REFUSED my money

    Reality check, I have to pay for all kinds of things that benefit others all the time. The US is no different from any other country EXCEPT that in Europe the "positve rights" generally apply to large portions of the population while in the US I have to pay for things that only benefit the very wealthy There are countless examples of this... especially recently... Since the 1980s the US has massively redistributed wealth upward

For example .. do you have any idea what the return on investment is for student loans? I now pay more in taxes every single year than all of my student loans put together now... why? Because they allowed me to go to a top line engineering school that I couldn't afford without them and start a fantastic career

    Wow... either you are a liar or not paying attention in class. Science NEVER proves anything. The scientific method is about collecting facts and developing theories to fit the facts. Experiments are then performed to attempt to falsify those theories. No theory has been or will ever be "proven" There is more evidence (A LOT more) for the theory of evolution than there is for the theory of gravitation... should we stop teaching kids about gravity? You haven't studied the evidence for evolution (or you aren't smart enough to understand it) based on your post

    While this could be said for some of the expansion packs for Dawn of War.. it's patently false for the original... Dawn of War is one of the coolest and best RTS games ever produced. The best way to play the game is by playing the DoWPro mod... It's the way most good players play anyways. If DoW is checkers then DoWPro is chess. www.dowpro.net
