And the current general problem is people save way too much, rich people I mean.
You dont need to save that much if you have a working health and pension system, and we have enough money in the world to do that, even in most 3rd world countries
I feel kind of bad, I do not want to follow my family, I find it more interesting to follow geeks, not at random fashion, but a few of them have interesting thngs to write or at least funny things.
Most family people or friendnot on IT business I follow would reply in days if even do at all, that is not really fun.
Looking at how things are going on Mexico, it makes a lot of sense that psychos run big business, you can relate almos any politician with drug traffic, and that can besaid of a lot of the most rich people in the coutry, now add the 100,000 deads we had on the last 4 years and we have a pretty good case her
I've been using debian testin/unstable for years, not experienced that once, i even lost recently a btrfs partition over a power failure and the laptop was still booting
If you really want easy reinstalls you are already doing hardcore support, that cannot be that easy, and there are good solutions for that kind of work, but as usual, work requires knowledge and *work* from your side.
I am a hardcore linux guy, for real, not the average joe installing ubuntu to feel 1337, I actually sysadmin for living, and I brought my wife an iPad before the *Pad explosion, and I can't say I regret a bit, 1 year and a few moths later the thing keeps everybody at home entertained, mostly because of the apps, but the hardware is kind of nice too, it's mostly a toy/browser/book-reader, but it does the job.
I'm pretty sure an android tablet will be on the family's future, but for the recent past, the iPad was the right choice
No, what we all need is a social system that tries to make everybodie's lifes better, tham means investing more on the people with less opportunities, not giving the money, giving them the possibility to achieve what they want for their lifes, just as easy as it is for a child on a rich family.
Kind of tricky, but that is what we need, and I don't see a lot of people trying.
U can perfectly live without an IT dept. no problem with that, but you will not be more profitable that the compiting companies using one, not on most job areas anyway, so IT is just as important as the overpaid HHRR dept, or that fancy SME office you have ranting everyday about the "network guys"

Besides, ipad wpnt need a lamp if you want to readat night, I have a little insomnia problem and my nights are much better since I buyed my wife an ipad, you can stay at bed reading without much trouble until you get sleepy again.
Im not a fanboy, I actaully work on a linux laptop/desktop 100% of the time, but the itouches ar one great thing comming from apple, just jailbreak it:)

A good part of the salary/wage cops, attorneys, and even politics make is related to the drug money that comes to them from plain corruption. You dont need to see a lot of what is going on around here to conclude that drug money is all over the place in the political business, it is well known thar even election campaigns are very well sponsored by the drug mafia.
The most simple cop guy here can make some 4000 pesos from normal wage and about the same from any kind of corruption deal, some would be drug deals and a variety of other deals, so, you would be downgrading the salary of a lot of people by legalizing drugs, taxing them would not actually compensate for the kind o money that the big guys in politics are making
Yes they do care about riots, but they will stretch the situation the most they can and so etimes enough to cause a riot.
I made a blog post about in in spanish a year or two ago, were I stated the premise that governments always try to profit the most out of people and all they do is try to maximize it, they will not prevent any kind of crime if it allows them to profit more than actually preventing it.
That is the case with third world govs. AND first world govs. Too, either you want to believe it or not
Would hamstersoft be happy if anybody else sells their books or apps without paying them ?

So you are saying that the matter is so complex that you cannot make a guess that is closer than a few trillions of the actual expenses/taxes you make in 4 years?
