    If you want to be that accurate, not even journals will do for you, more often than it should be scientist report errors or plain lie about findigs of their research, I think it happens much less on certain theoretical physics areas, but for instance it happens a lot on chemical simulations, and A LOT on biology and chemistry experimental areas.

    That is the areas I have experience on, but I could bet the same thing happens on most science fields.

    As much as I like your explanation, and the alternate path theory makes some sense, what is the % of germans that feel proud of their role on both world wars?

    No matter hitler, there were a lot of stupid people willin to feel superior enough to kill some other countries just because they felt it was the correct thing to do

    Samething with ipad, but it happens every 2-3 weeks, so it is not that anoying really, I updated to untether the jailbreak
    Ast weekend after some 6 months running on tetherd jailbreak and I had rebooted at most 3 times in that ammount of time

    BTW the update was showing on itunes since saturday at least, I had to do a partial upgrade because of that

    Hate to look like a troll, but I wonder why I never have this kind of trouble with debian, I can update/upgrade for years without a reinstall

    That is whatit keeps me off from using ubuntu or fedora, the only thing they provide is more problems, but people keep telling to themselves debian is an old distro, slow and outdated... Bah

    I have used mutt a few years now, it is my primary MUA for work, but has crashed on me, even in the las couple of days

    Setup is not that complicated, but like vim/emacs, you never stop leaning how to use it, I just learned a couple of new tricks from a friend.

    I gotta say that the best thing about mutt is the efficiency and that even when it crashes, it starts up as fast as always, it doesnt get corrupted as the other complex mail clents

    You could also imagine someone giving money to some hitmans to kill some enemies and immediately say "that is bad" and then pay for a full tank of gasoline that sponsors a war against the terrorism and say exactly the opposite, but you are being hipocrite just as with your example

    Even if you go with the "if you dont like their prices just dont buy it" do you reailize that even the most poor person is payin taxes tha help "prevent copyright theft"? why would someone that will never afford to buy a record from those lables have to pay to defend them? Do you see all the record companies defending the universal access to medecine ?

    Personally I love FF but uses way more resources than chrome at the longer term, a few hours of usage. Chrome works much faster even with is forking of processes, specially with sites like gmail
