This is very true, consider SACD or DVD-Audio, they are much closer to analog with a higher bit-depth and or rate., then again, I still like vinyl. MMMmmm warmth.
Ah yes well, You could be like some people and store it in a lossless compression format on a couple 200GB drives. If your good equipment is indeed of decent quality, a double blind test with a decent ear will reveal the difference.
Oh, and if you are using anything other than a digital signal output from your soundcard to a decent amp, everything sounds like crap to my ears. Then again I am a nitpicky bastard like that.
This whole LED mousepad/lighted case mod thing reminds me of the car performance enthusiasts vs. the "ricers".
Some people like to put all of their attention into how their machine (comp or car) looks rather than the machine itself. They annoy the general public in their gawdyness.
Some people like to have a "sleeper", just a plain ol' machine on the outside (car or comp) keep it nice and quiet as to not annoy others, but on the inside... Every part has been tweeked to get the most performance or stability out of it.
Some people have fast AND showy machines, but most of those people tend to burn out their engine/processor prematurely.
Alas, we must all respect eachother, and our freaky ways.
I would never buy music from an RIAA-owned company again.
Good news!!! you can't buy anything from an RIAA owned company. They are a trade group. They Don't OWN, they REPRESENT their constituents, the companies, and the general opinion of the companies they represent.
Fine the RIAA sucks. But don't punish the artists who's labels chose to be members. It's hard as hell to get signed, and the artist has to eat.
The RIAA provides legal services and lobbying forces that would not be possible by individual labels, let alone most artists.
YES I dispise the way the RIAA has handled these issues, but they are also looking out for the rights of the artists as a whole.
It's kinda like the MikeRoweSoft.com case. The RIAA has to try to protect the artists or else they set a precedent.
BTW MOST of the CD's I buy are independent, and if they are under the RIAA I try to buy at concerts, and murchandise, and tickets, etc...
I have the beliefs that many BBS'ers used to have about 'piracy'. Try it, then if you keep it, buy it.
Gotcha, my first was a 9600 fax 2400 data modem. God it pissed me off. It was almost as fast to fax me a BBS page as it was to have me log in and watch the ASCII art download one line at a time.
also, you can type IDKFA for the office keys, and if your boss is a "heretic", don't try the IDDQD thing, he will kill you instead.
Where did they get that chip? a bag of Doritos?
no, but knowing that there are six angles that show the chick and not him might help.
SPICE(multiple), Playboy(multiple), HBO, SHOWTIME, TECHTV, and Adult Swim, oh and the F1 race.
unlikely to be one drive?
You don't say....
Don't get a new hotmail account, run your own mail server instead. Set up a cron job to do the whole thing with some simple scripting.
the time to power off would be quite large though.
Well given the operating hours of this particular application (stock market), they only run 12 hours a day anyways.
tied the tag to another kid and or animal.

Could have somthing to do with Patrick Stewart swearing not to do another one....
You know, I have mod points right now, but there is no modifier for invoking godwins law....

I doubt it, remember, Somewhere a middleman exists, and he gets a PERCENTAGE.
Nawww he looked like the one who got hit by a truck and won a big settlement.

Don't come a knockin'
and what if the user can't compile for some reason?
Yes we know it CAN be done, but what is the PRACTICAL solution?
umm.. if you type First Post in the Fark forums, it changes to 'boobies' I am not kidding.
hahaha Insightful?
If your only basis for morality is law, then you should take an ethics course sometime.
If your only reason you want to buy it is to cover your ass, you are buying for all the wrong reasons.
great, you don't pay the RIAA, or the ARTIST either.
I would never buy music from an RIAA-owned company again.

Until I can't see it or hear it, there will alway be an analog hole...
whew, that ok, as long as you're not installing linDOS because the W ins't the problem, its the dillution of the DOS trademark.
