And hint, Atlas asked you kindly to use the syringe, if I remember correctly.

Ran fine here through twice on 64bit Vista. I'm guessing corrupt OS or bad hardware for him.

I played through the game twice on the PC version, and I've not had one crash of any sort, let alone a BSOD.
And to this point, I'd recommend that if you DO play the 360 version, DO NOT LOOK AT THE ACHIEVEMENT LIST. There are tons of plot spoilers, all the "secret" ones are like, "Shock a guy while he's in water".
I would have said, there's no way GCC would have lost dominance over GPL3. Then I remembered how fast a license change killed XFree86 dead, to which I would have said the same thing.
The public can either have new drugs and pay a lot to support the development costs, or have cheap generic drugs and no new ones. Supply and demand, free-market style (without the protectionism of patents).
I agree with sentiments of free-market in general. However, this is an example that the short sightedness and self-interest of the masses will end up screwing themselves over (the both aspects of humanity, second is even encouraged by a capitalistic market). Though I still don't think this form of regulatory action is the answer, I just don't know it.
just about all companies that have ever entered into a "partnership" with Microsoft have found out to their detriment. Why people still try to do business with them is a mystery to me.
Probably the same reasons regular people still work with bookies and the mob. They see the potential offerings, and think the consequences won't happen to them.
Then I guess what I like is the extent to which KDE apps have impliment it. I assume there will be a compatibility layer or something for all the KDE programs using dcop?
Maybe I am a minority, but the dcop interface was one of the things I loved about KDE. It made scripting trivially easy, hell I could do old tasks that used to take a whole script (like a xmms announce script for xchat or something), and do it with a one-liner alias with dcop. Perhaps this will be good for dbus, assuming it's a better backend technology, to give it a dcop-style interface?
Last I checked, you purchased that software. Both of them. Why can you not sell one of the copies?
Agreed, look at Year Zero's reviews and sales figures, sure, not #1 on all charts, but sure as hell not out of a job.
I've read things about this game being Take Two's new hit franchise. Expect sequels and prequels to develop the world of Rapture more.

The Grand Canyon begs to differ.
That's the benefit of digital, it doesn't degrade over copies, so each generation of storage media gets a perfect copy from the last.
While I don't necessarily agree with him, he is clearly confusing the words "advocacy" with "zealotry".

Fun ones
Oh?
Ditto to the above. I thought it was a WPA bug or something, but it was just the channel set to 6. At 11, it worked great, updated in about 2 minutes.

Ah, this is obviously some strange usage of the word 'free' that I wasn't previously aware of.
This is exactly what H.264/MPEG-4 AVC (x264 for example) is suitable for.

Surye, 60 Mage, Nathrezim! =D
I'm glad they didn't bother porting Real Life to linux, I heard the sequel is so much more interesting.
Something like this?
