I don't know if there is room for a sandbox only game. Compared to the standard leveller games that are EQ and WoW. The sims is a sandbox game and it sold amazingly well. Its online version did not. Can a mmo "the sims" work. I think so but you need to design a true sandbox game and not some weird hybrid. A true sandbox game is not about levelling up. This is hard as levelling is easy. Just ask the korean games. They can easily fit 250 levels into a game. It is no suprise SOE and Lucasarts want to go that rout. Just a pity for the sandbox people.
This whole paragraph screamed "SECOND LIFE" to me. I liked your post by the way.
One, there's no GTK involved, it's ALL QT. Second, the mouse works for pretty much everything, the cursor is just hidden, so it makes mouse usage pointless (but touch screen usage perfect).

Oh shit, you mean to tell me that this was a joke this whole time?!
Omg omg, where do I go about getting this sense of humor thing of yours?

That "forced upgrade" didn't cost anything, and didn't license your first born to Microsoft. MS upgrades are totally different from Linux upgrades. What to make that tired old argument.
Yes, because different users can have different profiles with different versions of cedega, for the best compatibility with any given game. With out this, all users get all or nothing. I like this system.
Correction! They were using FreeBSD 5.3 in the beta, and are now using FreeBSD 4.11-RELEASE-p11 in the (now merged with beta) stable release. Man, I should be a slashdot editor for my professional fact checking.
I can't wait for this to hit m0n0wall's stable release. 6.0's unstable branch was used on the beta for a while, but was then pulled. I need it for wireless so I can eliminate another embedded system, consolidating my network further. (and create a single point of failure;)
It's had video acceleration since the GF3. I don't know what you're talking about. Maybe you're talking about hardware encoding(VIVO since GF3 AFAIK)? Or video encoding on GPU(Never heard this, would like to see a link)?
I'm just shy of 20, and I still remember this.
Lameness filter encountered. Post aborted! Reason: Your comment looks too much like ascii art.
First to market = First to rule!
Hahaha, dreamcast.

Which is why I found those graphs really interesting. And I love the key date markers to give them reference.
So write a plugin!
But that won't stop dd!
Why you can't just "put it in".

2) Look and see if they used 25cfm fans which you can easily upgrade to 33cfm ultraquiet fans for about 10 bucks (should draw the same voltage).
And void the warrenty on a product already showing signs of poor design and manufacturing? Good idea
You've never been to Thunderbluff.
I could have swore I read somewhere they have authorized the use of Sonic Weapons to combat copyright violations. Damn pirates! (Heh. ;)

RTFM, you can start any game, with any params you want from the CLI.

Wait wait wait..... they edit these things?
If you are really hungry between meals, 10 gr of butter (yes pure butter only)
God, I stopped reading there to go vomit at the thought. That must be how atkins works.
Why do stupid people breed?
It's fun.
Thanks for the link, this looks fun. I'll have to see about playing around with it, and maybe some simple benchmarking.

Either way, I hope they hurry. I spent $500 upgrading my PC mostly in anticipation this game.
Christ, same here. I'm not saying that was the only driving force, but it was a big influence.
Hahaha. This actually made me laugh. At work no less. *hides from thought police*
