    That would require asking the library for the records, which is a completely different thing. We're talking about the feasibility of tracking someone's reading history by checking the cards in the books.

    GTK+/Win looks fine nowadays, especially with the native skin. I know lots of people that happily use Gaim without knowing it's in a different toolkit.

    You're an idiot. Most languages, like LISP, use prefix notation:

    C: f(a, b, c)
    LISP: (f a b c)

    They only differ slightly. Anyone who can't transfer that notation on to mathematical operators like + shouldn't be anywhere near a programming language.

    Vim is not going to have multiple windows in the OS X or any other build. It would require a significant rewrite of the entire editor, according to the docs.

    The GPL does not require an EULA. The only significance the GPL has to the end user is the disclaimer of warranty, which is not a contractual issue at all, but rather a notice.

    No splash screen should be necessary, either. It's not an end-user issue at all.
