It's pretty common to replace certain characters by numbers these days:
A - 4
E - 3
I - 1
O - 0
S - 5
So I guess a lot of MySpace users might be using the password "p455w0rd" these days instead of "password"...
This was a legal question. I'm not trying to be smart, I just would like to have an answer to my question. It is not off-topic either, so I don't understand why my question was moderated down to a score of 0. Now nobody will read my question anymore! If there's something wrong with my English, that's because English is not my native language. Please take this in mind and mod the score back to 1.
The gamma ray-burst occurred 13 billion light years away. Does this also mean that this burst happened 13 billion years ago? The considered age of the universe is around 13 billion years, so what I don't understand is this: the burst was 13 billion years ago, at a distance 13 billion light years away from where we are now, how could the universe have been so big already by that time, considering the burst happened not to long after the "big bang" which started the universe (I mean stars, planets, galaxys etc.)?
Now if they would only make Maps and News usable for people living outside the US (or UK for the Maps). I live in the Netherlands, and their is no Google Maps or News section available for us yet. So a personalized homepage allowing me to add Maps and News is not very useful for me at the moment.
"OTOH if all you want is a 6-character password, and it's typed a couple of times a day, then listening with 80% accuracy for a day may well be enough."
Which is not unlikely for most Windows users.
Warner Music Benelux has just annulled their contracts with some well known Dutch pop artists, because their (Warner Music that is) sales are dropping, due to file sharing on the Internet.
By the way, "Benelux" is an abbreviation for BElgium, the NEtherlands and LUxemburg.
It takes approximately 6 to 9 months to get there. Imagine 6 to 9 months in a small cabin in space. And you need to go back to earth as well. Temperatures on Mars range from -225 F, (-143 C) to +81 F (27 C). Huge dust storms spread throughout the entire atmosphere with speeds of 15-30 m/s (33-66 mph). I think the chance to survive a trip to Mars is almost equal to zero. You need to be either very brave, or just plainly mad to apply for being the first astronaut that will be sent to Mars.
Openlabs released a similar synthesizer already in january 2003, called OpenSynth EKO. Their current model is called OpenSynth NEKO. The NEKO is running Microsoft Windows XP Professional.
I don't think my comment was offtopic as preinstalling Lindows on a harddisk was compared to adding fluoride to water. Now that I wouldn't want any fluoride added to water, I consider this a poor comparison. If I want some fluoride, I just go brush my teeth.
As long as these robots are just fighting each other I think there's nothing wrong with escaping robots. But if they start beating up some humans it might get a little scary I'm afraid...

I would recommend von Tetzchner to take a cruise from Norway to the U.S.A. and spend his time swimming in the cruise ship's swimming pool.

I want no fluoride added to my water.
Don't count on it. Once the truck has arrived, you've got to deal with a whole lot of monsters.
I guess they have they cloned a human being.
