Have you ever been part of a class action lawsuit? As a plantiff in 3 that I can remember I haven't spent ANY time or resources as a result. In short, I've got exactly what I've put into them out of them.
So if say NK spent years developing technology and manufacting equipment using resources given to them by Clinton then it's fair to blame the Bush who shows up after the fact simply because the material's "born on" date is post 2001?
Others have a RIGHT to point out when they believe that a site like YouTube is stiffling speach from conservative sources just like the left likes to point out that FOX news tends to omit things presented by the left. That's how the free market works. Maybe it will be in YouTube's best interest for anyone who's not a liberal to realize they're not a valued member of YouTube's community and to leave so that YouTube can officially pigeonhole itself as another intolerant liberal website that competes with MoveOn.org for traffic.
Class actions suits, or threat of class action suits, go a long way to forcing companies to make changes. While the group harmed doesn't always get a fair shake of the settlements society at large tends to benefit a great deal.
When I am not in the room my children aren't allowed to access the internet. I disable access to the internet from their machine whenever I get up to leave the room and only enable it on request for as long as I'm in the room with them. As a parent I feel it's my responsibility to know enough to do this. In this particular case the principal needs to show that the parents did not make a reasonable attempt to limit and/or monitor their childrens access. If they attempted to and their children were able to circumvent them then IMO they have a defense but as a parent you can't simply throw your hands in the air and give up parenting because there is a chance that your children will get around it.
My cox HD-DVR runs about 13.95 a month (10.00 to "rent" the tuner + 3.95 for the service) with free hardware upgrades. The software isn't as polished as Tivo's, but it records everything I want to watch. Oh, and Cox is adding the option to download Tivo software to their box http://news.yahoo.com/s/cmp/20060825/tc_cmp/192300 035

While members of the military do probably take a lot more 'niceties' to the field now than they did in the past, they are also leaving a lot more of what they have come to be accustomed to behind. While my grandfather didn't have an i-pod in WW2, he didn't really have a lot 'luxuries' he left behind here in the states. I guess what I'm saying is, it's all relative.

Would you say that right to lifers are "Liberal" or "Progressive"?
Let me start by saying that I don't think it's climate change skeptics you want to hear from so much as "human induced climate change skeptics." Just because a person doesn't believe that humans are having a significant, or even measurable, impact on global temps does not mean they don't believe that the global temps are rising.
"Don't believe me that all scientists are united on the side that it's climate change exists? You don't have to. Pick up ANY scientific journal -- Nature or Science are rather dense for non-scientists, so try New Scientist or Scientific American or any one of countless others."

Are you serious? The more "evidence" there is of global warming the more money is given to "environmentalists". That compounded with the save the whales, newts, bermuda grass, or whatever other FotM endangered species there seems to be that many people who study these fields come into them with is more than enough to bring their results into question as far as a lot of people are concerned.
And this is from someone who won't even consider a vehicle that isn't ULEV-rated, never leaves the light on when they leave the room, and goes out of their way to conserve. I want cleaner air/water for its own sake. Believe me, if you can't convince people that clean air/water is a noble enough cause to get them to change their behaviors then you're surely not going to get them to change by simply repeating that it's hotter and it's all our fault.

Liberals believe that rights come from the government.
