sorry, but a business has the RIGHT to refuse service to ANYONE they want. the student here was a CUSTOMER who violated the agreement he SIGNED when he became a student at the school and the school had/has every right to terminate their business relationship.
it has nothing to do with the logo and everything to do with the law. law requires consumer protection when purchasing with a "credit" card and limits liability but the law does not give consumers using a debit card the same protection.
"If the chemist could solve the overall problem, I don't think it would have likely taken him long to workout how to preven the dye from sinking to the bottom of the bubble."
considering he wasn't even working on solving that problem before the inventor hired him i'd say his time to complete such a task would be somewhere close to never.
i've learned more trying to get bad software to work than most of my CS courses in school. sometimes the problem solving skills aren't just learned from the game, but from troubleshooting it.
Powerful religious groups can often have a profound impact upon the development and progress of a nation.
and powerful secular groups can not? i wonder, do you imply that religeon always has a negative impact on the progress or a nation? i think most of our founding fathers would disagree...
nowhere in the bible does it say God didn't create anyone other than Adam and Eve. it also never says that Cain and Abel were Adam and Eve's ONLY children.
And how does it jive with an Athiests belief that life was formed from nothing if we never find proof of life anywhere else? Does that call into question your "theory" that life can just happen? Because if it's true then surely there is life out there somewhere and surely you could find it.
Living with it is better than going to your neighbor's house and beating him over the head with a shovel because you believe he might have had something to do with it.
the difference: vista is relevant to the 90%+ of the world who uses MS products.

if one of my CUSTOMERS calls me a cocksucker i have EVERY right to throw him/her out of my place of business.
so what you're saying is you believe that government should interfer with the free expression of a private institution? nice

Perhaps it's time for Remo to investigate...
Word is Steve Jobs took a shit this morning. If you hurry you might be able to buy some from the Mac store. I heard the package is really pretty.
surely you can do better than that.
yeah. and creating a mirror of the data is much too difficult to be feasible.
the EULA that you had to agree to says that they reserve the right to use such methods. the user has to agree to this every time they patch.
you're right. i'm sure the artists, carpenters, painters, etc are terribly upset about Bill's spending on frivolous things that clear help no one.
