So you're not really familiar with the concept of investment risk...
You're obviously deluded about the concept of investment. Please enlighten us on what the investors who funded Ouya through Kickstarter got when the owner cash out and sold it to Razer.
So someone got incredibly rich from a Kickstarter campaign and a lot of contributors got screwed. We refuse to learn from that. Lets put that in the past (and mod down anyone who mentions it) and move on to funding the next person who wants to make a lot of money off of us. Maybe we can even finance another Hollywood movie in return for another broken promise.
Last year I bought the Nvidia Note 7 tablet based on the promise (from what I thought was a trustworthy company) that Android 5 would be released for it "real soon". That promised slipped to February 2015. When February 2015 came and went and there was still no Android 5 update available, Nvidia simply stopped responding to people who were asking about their promised update. They seem quite glad to screw the customer. I've bought a number of Nvidia products in the past for myself and friends, but I'll never buy another.

If there are nine people in a room but someone wants to draw a lot of attention to himself he can point to the shortest person and call them a dwarf person and so claim that there are really only eight people in the room.

I did manage to get Wolfram to give me that set of numbers, but they are neither interesting nor informative. I would be much more interested in seeing how day on the planet Pluto compares to night with moonlight on planet earth. Can anyone get that number from Wolfram?

Pretty useless. That link says the sunlight on Pluto is about 1.4 x average solar irradiance at Pluto. WTF??? They also give a comparison to Neptune, but unless you've actually been to Neptune that isn't of much use either. What they don't give is a comparison to Earth or (much more useful) Earth in the light of the full moon.
There are other valid uses other than racism I just want to use it to keep the people with a Y chromosome deficiency away from my jobs recruiting website. I do that now by putting plenty of links to Ophra.com on the website and that works pretty well for diverting away most of the unwanted traffic, but every once in a while an unwanted applicant sneaks through.
Think about how that might not work out well for you, Barack. You'll be better off if you just keep saying "there is no precedent for that" when people suggest a good idea that you don't want to implement, and ignoring precedent the rest of the time. Let the crackers see your whitehouse.gov website, it isn't like you really listen to any of the petitions on it anyway.
So you're saying that this guy who thought he was entitled to make a lot of money ripping off the music industry was also committing drug crimes? You're kind of making my point for me.
My first comment wasn't well received. And the majority of the community seems to disagree with me and speculate that it was a drug overdoes. So let me be helpful and suggest that those drugs should be made illegal.
I don't waste my time finding specific error in mythbusters or scientology. Once the pattern is established I don't see any reason to further waste time. If you want to be a blindly believing sheep that is your business.
More and more people are keeping their hands low. The old stupid saying was to keep your hands at 10 and 2, but with a bomb now built into the steering column, people are picking up on that being a good way to have both of your arms broken or worse.
Assuming that mimic the act of driving doesn't mean putting on makeup, shaving or brushing your teeth (no, I didn't RTFA but this is the UK so I think I'm pretty safe in thinking it does not mean brushing your teeth), then doesn't this pretty much defeat the whole idea of having a self driving car? I guess it might still allow the use of a self driving car by someone physically unable to drive for himself, but personally I would rather have a driver who is capable of taking over and driving if the need presents itself than a pretender who acts like they can drive but can't really.
Given that the last strip ended with Opus being put down at the animal "shelter" and Berkley making some very definite statements about this being the end of Opus and how we should all know that he wasn't coming back, it is interesting to see that Opus is back from the dead. Like a religion I guess we are expected to overlook the details.
Good to think that it might be coming back though.
It is good that people don't believe anything and everything the government tells them. Oh, wait, I don't want to be modded down. What's wrong with these jerks? Why can't they believe that I've accepted without questioning or thought?
Croudsouecing! What a great deal. Quick, give me a link where I can send all my money without even watching the video. I want to make this guy rich.
Well it failed, so nothing. Duh.
No, it succeeded very well for the guy who collected all of the money.

I just hope that the person who modded me down buys Nvidia products. That will be revenge enough.

The US Government has had this for years.

Finally a way to avoid offending certain people and gorillas.
Fortunately, no honest people used the site.

mythbusters gets a lot of stuff wrong. Its entertainment, not science.
I'll get over it.

Hard to understand how Opus could have gone to sleep 25 years ago and then dreamed about Sarah Palin 7 years ago.
