in 5 years, every little computer app will allow you to make free calls via the net. its really not that hard to stream sound/audio once bandwidth limitations are overcome. Meg Whitman overpaid for Skype.
How about using a Nano pic instead of the 2nd generation IPOD logo that is currently used on this site?
which bring up a good point, alot of those category icons are getting pretty out dated... what is the process for updating them. Isnt this site supposedly to undergo a totally new redo?

SEATTLE--In a move that could shake up non platonic relationships, Internet retailer Amazon.com has patented the use of the male penis. Amazon's possession of this patent could allow the company to prohibit men from using theirs without giving the online merchant information.
The overall premise of patenting an invention is valid and protects the inventor. However, I agree the current system is highly abused. The flaw in the current system, is the ability to patent 'IDEAS' even if you cant physically create a functioning prototype. For example, right now you can patent the 'IDEA' of a hovercraft car, and 50 years from now when someone actually develops a hovercraft car...they *must* pay royalties to you. ???? this needs to be changed. You should only be able to patent physical process (algorithms, products) and not ideas.
