  2. Smaller is the team, better this will work on Don't Let Your Boss Catch You Reading This · · Score: 1

I spent eight years in a very small cabinet specializing in investors relations and general multimedia and print production.

The best part was the last years where we cutted down to 4 employees counting the boss's wife helping us with the e-mails. This is the kind of job where you can leave for pretty any good reason (going to the bank while open, repair car, good party, you get the picture).

But in return, when we are in big production, I can work over 110 hours a week to produce an event alone. (dealing with the client, shooting and editing video, producing printed material, coordinating technical equipment, producing the webcast, consulting with vice-presidents about words to use, changing thext in presentation 5 minutes before we are live, billing him, you get the picture) One person could do all the job very efficiently. I have no need to tell people what I want, I just do it.

So the big pictures boils down to this : with great power comes great responsibility.

NB.: This compagny just closed due to lack of clients, but his is due to specific economic situation in Quebec (We were working a LOT with the wood and paper companies. Our dollar going up means less export, and with the problem canada had with the US special taxe not helping...) We were the cheaper best quality event producing home in Montreal. We even won a gol prize with one of our video (http://www.global-maximage.com/global2/). The video is on the first page but it's in french.

    Hope this has been helpful.

And since we are here, a partership with Nintendo for a commom reference platform would be very nice! Imagine if you could play GB/NES/SNES/N64 games on your iPod and Gamecube, Revolution titles on your Next gen PowerMac and eventually PowerBooks.

An option kit with controllers, a game and little extra hardware from nintendo to make profit.

It would solve the lack of games availability.

But a much sompler solution would be a dual proc G6/cell with proper Nvidia card with playstation 1,2,3 compatilibity and controllers would be nicer tough.

First, I must admin that I listened the movie from the comfirt of my home, with the convenience of two timecodes blocking the image.

After viewing the movie with my friend, we agreed that while the acting was not very good, the movie delivered what we expected.

And I completely agree that Lucas completely butched the first three ones by giving Anaking about 3 days to become evil. But I think Lucas's bankers think otherwise...

In 5 years, I did more than 15 corporate events, had 3 months in the press industry, a month in photo development, a year investing in a sound studio, being kinda ripped off but learned a lot... Before I decided to drop, I asked some teachers about that. One resumed very well the situation : "If you don't want to teach, you don't need the degree.". Now, i'm in a creative sector, not like engineering, and i'm kinda talented, don't try this at home. Our schools, even if underressourced, is still a source of knowledge.
