A visit to InterTrust.com will show that theyve been suing for a while now - I tried to submit a/. story about 4 months ago about this fact after coming across their site *a part of auditing my system*.
NB if you own a Windows box w/Media Player 8 do a search for InterTrust *wilful infringement is a high probability IMO*.:\
While the agreement outlines some copy-protection guidelines, it was drafted without the input of Hollywood or consumer groups, which have strong opinions and powerful friends in government.
The content layer isnt standardized yet.
This is nothing to celebrate - DRM will probably still discriminate against FOSS (Free and Open Source Software).
This is something I thought of a few months ago. I thought it might let you save electricity also if you had a presence and authentication system as it could make things go into power saving when noones present. Theres tonnes of other things that could be made easier with this presense system. =)
Ive always guessed Electronic Arts produced the best games and known that producing games can bring in more money than movies. Though, its surprising that EA is almost as productive as Disney after such a short lifetime.:)
SIMS Online will be sweet and more enjoyable than any amount of movie watching IMO!
Theyre 10 years too late probably.

Its nice to see Im not the only person who has read glibc-doc. I was very interested in obstacks when I read about them last month but havent used them yet and this HOWTO is a nice read also.
I think glibc-doc needs more humour so more people read it.:P
You dont understand what theyre asking. The QT embedding widget needs to be ported or else itll be dropped from the distribution IIRC.
The widget is like a wrapper for Gecko so that Gecko can be embedded into QT programs easilly. It probably wouldnt be too much work *if you were a C++ and/or QT programmer* to port it. =)
Phoenix is a small and fast browser but I doubt its smaller and faster than a Gecko-based browser which doesnt use XUL *the Mozilla.org portable widget set* to render the layout. Check Galeon out sometime.:P
No - just because you say it doesnt make it true. Investing time to learn a better system is not a bad thing and you need to think of the whole picture. You could have said something other than 'free' and you may have been correct but you didnt and you arent.
You posted in the wrong thread btw - this point could have been better expressed in the 'Win2k is Cheaper than Linux' thread. =P
I first thought of logitech keyboard and being aware that you probably dont want something so huge didnt stop me from looking to see what they produce as they are prominent and may have created a industry standard protocol *as you may do when youre a leader in a technology*.
http://www.win.tue.nl/~aeb/linux/kbd/scancodes.h tm l is the first link that google provided when looking for logitech cordless keyboard protocol and the document has alot of keyboards listed. =)
I might have seen one of these eclipses about 6 years ago. The sky turned from day to night quickly then back to day in about 5 *IIRC* minutes. It was creepy!
How did I find a directory named InterTrust (or Inter Trust) on my computer with license files inside it if they had no system which worked?
If anyone actually USED digital rights management maybe InterTrust would have grounds for a lawsuit. But nobody does.
;)
Ii is in wide use - reread the story.

I second that motion.
Ugh I think they know youre unhappy now. =P

OpenBSD developers are probably used to doing things twice. *Im talking about checking for flaws* =)

Well I got to see the last part of the partial eclipse from Brisbane (AU) - the cloud cover here was very bad so blocked most of it.
;)
Welding goggles came in handy *wish I had them when I tried to look at a total eclipse when I was young*. =)
http://www.csiro.au/helix/eclipse/ should have pics when it comes back online. *It wasnt even Slashdotted by Slashdotters - hehe*
I feel safe posting links as score 0.
