Obviously if this guy thinks AI is bad.. he has never played Counter-Strike with a group of 6 bots on hard... they use different guns, and distractions, and autohead shots... well.. 2 out of 3 aint bad.
You walk into a room full of traps and puzzles to disarm them... you are well on your way to getting through the room.. when suddenly.. BAM! You have just stepped on a tile that locks the way out. What do you do now? Leave the way you came in... and PRESTO! all the traps are reset and everything is back to how it was before you entered earlier.... that always gives me a chuckle or two...
It does not look like the orignals had any scratches or dust (from the examples). Of course it is going to be harmful (don't fix what ain't broke). Anyone have any example of poor/dusty film that this might help with?
There are plenty of other things we can evolve. Better eyes for seeing in the dark (or even better, eyes that can view computer monitors for extreme long periods of time)... Of course when we look back everything seems to fall into place, but looking forward is always blurry. People 100 years ago probably couldnt see much of what we have become now.
Releasing the game console right before starwars?! Anyone who is going for the XBox2 Rush will be inline to see Starwars at some theatre that is not going to show it.
Most theatres usually receive the movie 2-3 days ahead of time. so they have time to splice and get things situated. I picture they will do the same for digital movies. they will download them 2-3 days ahead of time, that gives some give for network issues.
Then again... we could do a poll of who we want to win... and then slashdot all the loser until their servers go down. Sounds like cheating.. but hey it is for a good cause!
that History repeats itself... so I look forward to gaming going back to 8-bit... back in the day your game HAD to have a plot(well maybe)... those were the days...

Its nice to see that Microsoft and Pfizer decided to "Rise" to the challenge. It is going to be a "hard" battle... and may take a "long" time to win. I am sure "big" old Microsoft can take them out...
