    Where the hell do you live that you can commute on a segway? Even in the ATL traffic moves faster than one of those things. Plus you can't take it on the interstate, and you shouldn't (and can't legally) take it on numbered highways which are more roads than you think. Oh and no sidewalks either. Those are for peole that aren't too lazy to walk.

    As much as i loathe OS 9, i've found that most boxes form the OS9 day run kinda slow w/ OSX installed. And more so, they take forever to boot. it's my opinion that it's more than woth the trade off to work woth OSX(mmm...), but make sure that everyone who will be using these agrees. if they're alwaysd on, though i'd say go for it.

    If it's not a car and can't kepp up with traffic it shouldn't be on the road. All they will do is cause traffic congestion. And don't complain about pollution. Modern, working cars don't pollute enough to make a difference either.

    You are using restart, aren't you? I've found that it does tend to be kinda hit and miss, but i think that's just because i only restart fucked processes that don't respond to anything but zap.

    It's called a rocket. That's what people use for freight now. The shuttle is rarely used for freight because it too expensive. i know the private sector almoast exclusively uses rockets.

    I suspect that unless a law requires such a device, (don't think it won't happen), no one will buy cars knowing that such a device is in it.
