Hmm. Not *precisely* the kind of publicity the Mac folks were probably looking for, but with their marketshare almost any publicity is good publicity.
Years ago, British Leyland ran a full page ad in the Times, apologizing for the efficiency of the Land Rover, and how it was supposedly enabling poachers in Africa to stay one step ahead of the law. Rovers still rule, and Macs will continue as well.
Just remember, the best way to live outside the law is to stay within it.
The logic used to illustrate the 'issue', according to Brian Martin, is in itself a definition of a 'virus'. Not an inditement of any one factor.
"A harmful or corrupting agency; "bigotry is a virus that must not be allowed to spread"; "the virus of jealousy is latent in everyone"
These virii depend on us as part of the equation...placing the blame on any single entity is just passing the buck, and not valid in terms of identifying a solution.
Video cameras snap the shopper, then clothes and accessories are selected and displayed immediately.
You walk by a store front in the mall, and the display in the window is comprised of 1/2 dozen virtual mannequins that ALL LOOK JUST LIKE YOU and are wearing 1/2 dozen different outfits....hope it can accurately spot male/female:)
Dragon Burn has allowed me to burn 3 disks at one time
G4 dual 1.25GHz
1.) Internal ComboDrive (Phillips 32X CD-R/RW)
2.) Internal SuperDrive (Pioneer 2X DVD-R/RW)
3.) External Firewire enclosure (Samsung 52X CD-RW)
All burn at one time, with no issues, except for making it easy to bleed down my blank media inventory.
Actually that's perfect....Toyota/Dell....Rover/Mac :)
No one ever got fired when going w/Big Blue
:)
.::. "Come close to me, Klingon, and let me die with my hands at your throat!" .::.
Check that...no one but a slew of Intel Engineers!

The soothing hum is actually kind of nice to my ears
She's wilder than me, and it keeps me up all nite...she can drive as fast as I can, but she stops at all the lights.
...this is why they are called 'virii'.

It doesn't matter what mail client/browser/OS you use if you're going to be stupid enough to open attachments
:)
Certainly it does. Those 'attachments' only run on Windows.
Mac OS X (etc.) is simply not a breeding ground
OS X....works for me...all go to the trash.
:)
Oh what a relief it is
Infoworld claims the result could be 'devastating'"
I claim the result of MS on the world to be 'devastating'.
There. The 'cut-to-the-chase' summation of where this thread should eventually go.
How many times to do we have to be reminded of the vulgarity that has seeped out of Redmund since the beginning?

I thought Leonardo de Vinci's drawings were prior art...that, and cave drawings showing how to corner a herd of antelope :)
...had him killed??? No way! I killed him myself!!
Microsoft launched the six-month pilot in December
Great...good news that. I was worried that a capable outfit would get involved and RFID might gain traction. Now I can relax.
Fingers crossed...been waiting for months.
I am not calling him 'Sir Bill'....
Whatever little respect I had left for the Monarchy just fell off the table. Why not Knight the local neighborhood drunk, while we're at it.
now is a great time to grab Maestro, NASA's public science tool for visualizing mars data (which I helped to develop).
Justin...nice app.
Can I ask a question? Why the shots with the backdrop, netting, etc? Baseline or?
This is the last image received prior to the recent issues with Spirit...
The rules are different when it comes to indoor, contained usage. As long as you're not in competition with ATT, you're legal :)
It's a G4 450. Not exactly cutting edge.
:)
Yet it still works wonders...what a testament to the bloodline

Agreed.
It's your perception.
Perception is integral to the use of any GUI.
I believe the key is an individual's dependence (or lack thereof) on various perceived elements, that is really at work.
