UnitedLinux is the linux community's only chance to compete (seriously) with MS in the desktop environment. Too many techies/programmers/geeks out there don't understand the business end of IT. Any linux distro that isn't a part of UnitedLinux will not only be competing with MS, but will watch their sales slip as corporations (who by the way need standards) choose UnitedLinux as their version.
the "free" aspect is what is hurting linux IMHO. "free" is not a very solid business model. yeah, yeah, red hat is doing okay, but they'll never have the revenue to seriously compete with microsoft or apple on the average joe's computer. server sales only go so far.

1,700 bugs!!! And everyone around here is always complaining that Microsoft releases buggy software. Geez....

The "third party" that translated the software into Korean had something to do with the problem.
