Its funny, I've had a full featured Skype client running on my Windows Mobile powered HTC Apache on the Sprint network for a few years now. And I can use the 3G connection for Skype calls. Why people keep going crazy about the iPhone is completely beyond comprehension.
Be fair, the HTC Skype only allows speaker phone usage or a bluetooth hack. This lets you actually hold the device, well, like a phone

Funniest Catholic Comment EVER! I am Catholic and find myself thinking many of the same things. I have 10 years of experince and still find myself wondering if its even possible. My Wife and I barely skim by at times. We make more than the national average...but nope here we are. Very odd

Yeah gosh that darn texan! Oh wait lets see under Clinton people hated us in the Balkins, during Regan most of Eastern Europe hated us, during the Carter years...well who didn't think we were dumb. What I am getting at is it is so easy for you to take out your political hate on the current leader dismissing the fact that things happen in the past. Terrorist attacks under Clinton were between 10-14. Yet today most Clinton supporters talk about the world being safer. I would recommend you compare the current leadership to those of the past and not your narrow minded view of today. Go ahead mod me down.
I really like realplay *helix* out of all the ones out there. It is the only player that natively supports my OS *linux/freebsd* Quicktime and h.264 are great and wonderful but I am not important enough to support!
I just made it through the storm. I skirted past the national guard and made my way to my wife in Shreveport. I was in Biloxi MS. Listening to the news on the way up north it is amazing how many people are whinning. Do you realize what is left down there? Do you realize that people have NOTHING. Do me a favor...stop it...the only thing people need right now is help. Government, Politics, and taxes mean nothing. I picked up people on the side of the road that had nothing but the clothes they were wearing and the bike they were riding. So please oh please put things in perspective. I am done ranting. I am just really really exhausted and tired of all this.
I dont find the sacrifice of our Lord bad. I agree greatest thing to ever happen to us! But making a joke with a Snickers punch line is disrespectful and ugly.
To all of those wishing to move because of Bush being voted.....put your money where your mouth is. I am so tired of people thinking the world is going to end and moving up North or over the pond is going to help you. I say go! Whats holding you back!? Call all your actor friends in Hollywood and take them too....

Hate to say it but the military may consider it unsecure but I work for the military and by the end of the year we are rolling out 12000+ desktops full of XP:) Security doesnt matter to anyone but those who know...the Goverment has sold their souls to Microsoft.
I would like to end it here and now that nerds can be the cool kids. Gasp! I know everyone go ahead and take a seat. Lets just say i know this guy first hand...and second hand....I grew up a computer nerd which was at no fault of my own seeing my father was a HAM and SATCOM guy in the Air Force. My entire life was surronded by HF and UHF and any other radio frequency my dad could toy with. For some odd reason i found a way to be the popular kid. I played sports and was pretty good....I was decent in school....I even might have showered then:) but the main thing that would counteract my coolness was the fact that i was the sysadmin for the school district that i went to high school in. I was always running around (sadly during class) fixing computers and doing techie things. what i found after being Homecoming King...Prom king and queen (dont ask my dad still wont look at the pictures: side note it was to raise money) is that it isnt what you drive or who you hang out with. Just a matter of being nice to people. In High school the going mind set is to cling to people like you and shun those who are different. All it takes is one goofy unix admin to change that. I hate to say this is central to only high school life with nerds being unpopular. I see it today in the military. The same mind set is in the adult realm too just everyone likes to think that was dumb and they only did that when they were younger. The moral of the story is this...Stop buying SUVs to be "cool" no one cares that you bought a 4x4 to drive down paved roads...stop buying 10,000 dollar watches and wearing short sleeve shirts in the snow just to show everyone....stop living the lifestyle of someone you are not...the same things you all tell your kids not to do happens. Nerds are unpopular because its just how it is. But then again being nice seems pretty unpopular in these times too...thank you for putting up with bad spelling and grammar:) enjoy my rambling!

Amarok 1.4.2 released today supports the MTP standard giving it the same capabilities as the iPod.
