Well ultra2 was new in the mid-late 90's so compare it with software raid running on a 300Mhz box and you will probably see worse performance. Of course it all depends on the setup, having a stand alone box to do RAID is nice, but the bottleneck created by most networks negates the current highend drives. The other thing thats worth noting is what type of connection the card has, the 4200SA's were 64bit PCI so that wasnt an issue. What OS/drivers were you using ? (I obviously do not have a 4200 sitting around to benchmark, but I think that card should have handled more than 7 writes per second.)

Thats it. Those were the countries that were involved from day 1, since then a lot of other countries have sent peace keepers into the country.

I agree. Everything from penn north should be a seperate country. Then I would move back to the northeast and suffer the winters at least knowing I have a government that is better than the rest of the country. As it stands now I just want out of the US.
Make a note: Bush is going to do everything he can to allow more terms for presidential canidates. He will also try to allow forgiegners to run (Arnold is a republican). He will piggyback the bill, or do whatever it takes. Since the republicans increased their lead in the senate and house this will be much easier than people think.

... why do you think there is a low voter turnout ? Its because people dont think their vote matters, and in the current system it truely doesnt. If you gave people a chance to have the power in their hands you would be surprised how much information they could aqquire and use. I dont recomend the average person be required to know every little bill or piece of information that a senator is required to have information on (although not to many of them know very much.) because that would be ineffective. However if the average person had the ability to be more involved in government they would have a good idea on the baseline issues.

Look into some of the physological angle's on why drugs are so popular, most of them have to do with the fact that they are considered taboo by mainstream society.

I can argue this from any number of angles. First and most important is that a fertilized egg is not a human. Human life does not begin until that life can make a logical decision and survive without a host. Also of note is that we have access to thousands of untainted cells that are sitting in various places waiting to be destroyed that could be used WITHOUT abortion, yet this president banned that based on his religion (something which IMHO should have had his ass impeached and thrown to the wolves from his damn commercial.) not on facts or public opinion. Some of the religious right wanted a complete ban on stem cell testing because they think stem cells must come from abortions.
