Ok
Seriously
What the HELL is the matter with these people? There should be limits to the "we do it because/to see if we can" excuses crap.
A community-based project like the Wiki should not have been targeted, it is an effort of people willing to contribute, for everyone's benefit.
There's just no way BT could provide the data throughput required to have any kind of decent sound (I won't even think about video) quality out of the connections you describe. Remember, without analogue connections (cables), you are in I-need-serious-kbps-power land.
Tintin is a classic series. Many people, myself included, view it with a romantic eye as a classic.
I wasn't pleased when they made Asterix films, and I feel the same way for Tintin.
Have they totally ran out of ideas??
"Some commentators had said that in making the Oberg book an official Nasa publication, the agency was actually giving a certain credibility to the hoax theory."
I can't help but laugh, really, when such an argument is used. IMO it's basically as good as simply sticking your head in the sand, and pretending nothing's going on outside.
In the case of the Moon landing conspiracy theory, I feel the argument is even more invalid. Almost everyone has heard the theory. The theory would be so bad, and in so many ways, were it to be proven true, that it seems that everyone that might believe it, already firmly does, and everyone else already firmly rejects it. It doesn't strike me as the kind of suggestion that allows for grey areas.
The logical conclusion would seem to be that this move only serves to further fuel those who do believe. Since the work, it seems, was already done, I think they would have been better off publishing the book. No point in pretending the theory believers are not there, and that they don't have a loud voice. Better to confront them...
The battle in Insurrection was indeed strong, but can you guess what was the ooooone thing that even made -me- (ST maniac) feel _embarassed_?
Yup, that's it, J.Frakes flying the Enterprise for the decisive manoeuvre with a joystick! They killed it! I mean, it wasn't such a bad idea, it coulda been a decent scene... But they killed it! Seemed like smth they put together 5 minutes before shooting... At that moment I lost most of my respect for the film...
YouTube is down. And a million viewers from /. descend upon it like the plague.
Yeah, that'll help bring it back up...
Ah... That would explain the "I used to work"...

Who needs the button. You're simply after CTRL-W.
Yup...
WAAAAY too much free time...
Why would it need a gun turret? Just have it wirelessly link to the gun turret of your Hummer and control that one from inside!

Heeey, no fair! Somebody must have warned them we were coming, all the page image links seem to be broken! Damnit!
Phoenix 0.4 has it as well. Dunno if it goes even further back, I only have 0.4 handy right now...

IMO only Avengers and Scooby Doo -really sucked- (plus I haven't seen Brady Bunch). Oh, and my eye most of the time was in fact on Mimi Rogers... :)
Err...
