Oh I love your term "buzzword-laden manifestos". I mean its not like we hear phrases like that from jargon spewing protestors daily.
It's amazing what you can do with a washing machine. I only hope he has another washing machine for his clothing because no cop would believe "Well officer I make beer in my washing machine, and thats why my clothing smells like alcohol."
If the movie is finished it can only be a shadow to what could have been. I'd rather have the crappy 70's version that Adams didn't participate in than a version where someone tries, and fails, to finish where Adams started.
Why do they keep changing small orders to medium or short? Is it because we thing the coffee, pizza or whatever peice of merchandise feels insulted? Honestly it's stupid. I work part time at a coffee shop and we don't have special names for the coffee. Noone comes in and orders a grande or tall or whatever coffee they just say "I want your smallest cup" or "do you have anything larger?" and our sizes are simple: Small Medium and Large. Seriously people just don't care. It's funny though because I have a simple question "If medium is your smallest size how is it the middle size?" In reference to a drink I guess you would just ask them to open wide and not worry about how unsanitary it is to use your thumb to shoot the drink into their mouth. But hey it serves them right for having some logic.
Basically it comes down to this the Box is made to discover why accidents occur so that they can be blamed on teenagers to a higher degree. The thing is we already know why accidents happen.
The standard scenario is something along these lines:
Someone somewhere does something stupid while driving causing themself or someone else to have an accident.
Case closed nothing further to investigate. It might seem close minded but its essentially true.
Any parent who gets one of these has two options:
1.Assuming the teenager has their own car try to install it in their car, but no one would let their parents install the box unless they were a perfect driver.
or
2. If they share the car the parents have to have their driving recorded as well. Now if parents were perfect drivers it would be fine but they aren't. Honestly would you really want you spouse to know that you were late because you ran over the neighbors dog? I don't think so.
