Though a very interesting concept, the question remains...how much is this going to cost?? Phones and plans cost more than enough already! (At least in Canada)

I have to wonder if security would even be an issue if more time were spent on the planning stage.

Who exactly is behind these developments? And how much testing is actually done before it is released?
If it's meant for high-traffic zones, why would it be currently available for non-commercial use first? Ah, I get it, yet again using the public as guinea pigs. You know Gates has to be behind this one.
(last part of comment meant to be humerous)
Remind me again just WHY people make a big deal about Shatner?
He makes millions for bad acting. And I would think that any professional would want to see the bad reviews as well as the good. One could possibly get some worthwhile constructive criticism. It is always good to aim for improving one's skills.
I have to admit, as interesting as a concept as this is, just how much detail does the tracker obtain? Is it only the geographic position? (yes I realize that that is what it is named after...)
How will this play in regards to the "Big Brother" theory?
Though it would be a great idea for use in the parole system, how long will it take for it to go beyond acceptable boundaries?
Numerous people wish they could be the stars the see on TV, at the rate this technology could go, we could very well find our lives being that much closer to those some admire. Exposed, and never again to be completely and privately our own.
For anyone who's afraid of heights, this could very well be a solution...though I don't know how good of a camera you would want to use...(oh gee would you look at that, it's made a new friend[tree/wire]! *smashie smashie*).
And if NASA is using this??? Are we progressing or regressing??
(Though I have to admit, I wish I had known about it when I had to do science projects back in the day!)

I realize my post was a bit lengthy, so may have misinterpreted what I was saying. I wasn't "dissing" Mozilla, I was disagreeing with the idea of advertizing it to a general user market.
I only have one question for you...have you ever worked a helpdesk job of any sort???
Anyone who has worked on a helpdesk, or who has at least heard the helpdesk horror stories, would probably join me when I say that advertising to a general user market would be ugly.
Granted I haven't used it, nor have I completely taken the chance to look into its functions, but from what I have heard about it, it sounds like something that is more for highend users. (People who know more than just how to turn on their PC and use e-mail).
When they think that logging out of their profile is just closing out of whatever programs they had open, what makes anyone think those types of people (which are a lot more than we'd like to think) could effectively use Mozilla?
Need I remind anyone of what happened to the "Hindenburg?!

For what I've seen of the man it wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't.

See TUX, he will help you. (For anyone who used to watch Kung Fu: The Legend Continues this might be amusing)
