The commandments aren't per se the offensive part, the fact that a statue related to a specific religion is displayed there is the culprit for many people. Just look at what has been going on with Quebec's charter of values!
What makes you think the same isn't true of other religions ? Given enough time and wars, it's possible that the source of the FSM religion will be forgotten.
The website will fail to load. They might then end up clicking refresh once or a few times, thus causing the DDOS.. That must have been the missing ??? step =)
Unless 10 000 people spray paint a town one night. If you catch a few of them (14 ?) and you know they only took a spray can and shot a few seconds (they did almost nothing vs the botnets), would you charge them for cleaning up the whole town ?
What if I setup my website on a very old 386 with 32mb running linux, and anyone would automatically cause a denial of service by loading it ? Could I then charge them for ddosing my server and have them pay hundred of thousands for a nice new setup ? Well, I think we found a new one..
1. Setup a website on a very small server 2. Buy 25$ of ads on google, use the extra 100$ free to not even pay for them and get tons of leads (50, 60 ?) 3. Wait a minute 4. Sue the people who clicked on your ads and brought down your server. 5. Profit!
Charging the vandals for first grade shatter proof glass replacement is bogus though. Charging that guy for what was broken (perhaps a part of the tarnished reputation ??) would have been the equivalent.
I gather it`s mostly so that they would understand the pain and then reason out they should rather have looked the other way and help legalize assisted suicide in light of their new experience. Wishing them such a death will often cause people to think about such a death for themselves and that could perhaps enlighten them on the real choice they would take when facing this decision about themselves.
How's a thermos built again ? Oh yeah, a vacuum, because air is a good conductor and vacuum isn't. So, your hard drives could appear cool while they toast inside. Are you sure that's what you want ?
I felt the same. Then I stopped caring. Well, rather, so far they've retrieved 20+ 'fragment' of 'something' yet only 4-5 were confirmed to be from a meteor. Let's wait till they confirm that this one was or wasn't before wondering what's going on =)
You should have at least tried it; you missed a good game. At least it`s not too late, you can still buy a copy. My favorite is still GTA 3: San Andreas! Look it up:)
Sadly, middlemen being cut off can often fight it out. Just take a look at the recent setback suffered by Tesla; they should not even have to fight about being able to sell their product but I guess some middlemens fight harder than others!
There are some places in the world where people chat together at lunch time, something you could have noticed if you had gotten out of your mother`s basement. It appears that in a lot of those discussions, people speak of things they recently did, watched, or such. Thus, there is a pressure from your peers to also watch the episode as they unfold or you will cause them grief if you don`t want them to talk too much about it, or you might dislike learning the punchline before seing your favorite serie.
Oh well, I guess that`s way too deep for you. Have a nice day!
At least is your 70" 4k ? Because I certainly favor playing on my triple 30" @ 2560x1600 each than my 70" full hd. Perhaps if it was 4K I'd favor the 70", but I am not even sure of that.
There were very nice tools in the AH, like being able to search for an item selling under a specific amount. So, you would set up the minimum skill points in the specific build type you wanted on the item, and set an amount for 'less than' at something like 40k (a few minutes of kills) and you'd then order the items by the main stats, purchase the best one, and be on your way.
Or, go for the best item, and look for the less time remaining on the AH. You could often snipe items for less than 1/1000 of their value this way. I've stopped playing and started again a few times, and I always got back up using only a small amount of gold using this method.
With enough good self-driving cars, you could automatically assemble car-trains to reduce consumption, and with a wide enough acceptance, they could be allowed to accelerate up to much greater speed than is usually allowed on regulars highways for non-automatic cars. Then, when you don't need them, once at work, you could allow them to be used as automated taxis and get some income out of it.
I'd understand if you'd want those who commited the war crimes he revealed to be executed, but him? I don't understand how you can arrive at the conclusion that he deserves that, unless you were perhaps one of those who commited a crime he revealed ?
I've had a game published which wasn't even started, or approved while only displaying 'an internet connection is required to proceed'. It's hard to be checked out less than this..
You pay the same price, but then you can't lend them easily to your friends or resell them, you can't rent them from the local library, depending on the device used, annotating or marking the pages is not effective and can't easily be shared between two people reading the same book at the same time (keep slowly browsing through to get to the current page), and you need to have that device charged up (more or less a problem depending on the device type). Beside having it instantly and the lighting on the kindle paperwhite / kobo glow for night reading, there's not much to like:(
Ugly, check. In our area, most of them are built upon previously protected natural areas that were pretty idyllic before.
Noisy, check. The biggest ones can be heard and felt from more than two kilometers downwind.
Pollutes, check. Each of the turbines is going through 20 gallons or so of grease a month, a lot of which is being released in main wind direction and contaminating the ground.
Crazy subsidies. Here, we pay the producer of wind energy about 12c/kwh, while we are paying less than 4c/kwh for the hydroelectricity production, and selling all the electricity at an average of less than 7c/kwh. As such, we are giving away at least 5c/kwh for the wind production, not counting the distribution costs.
Affects the ecosystems, check. Albeit solely a single point of view, my grand father has been tracking all the birds in the area where he lives for years (30+). He has noticed a sharp declines in the diversity and quantity of birds in the last 3 years, since those were built. He also heard a lot of complaints from neighboors that the snow distribution after snowstorm has been affected, but that one could perhaps also be pinned on the climate extremes.
All in all, beside the oblivious corruption (which we are slowly trying to get rid of!), there is no reason for this to ever have existed around here.

The statue of the ten commandments is also offensive to those whom the satanist statue isn't, and to many more people.
When will we see a flying spaghetti monster up there ?? :)

They might need 1 day result for the money they will put in there though, which is a very different matter..
Not if he`s working for Ford..

But far less than sending all those same photos and videos directly to your friends and family..
Multiple gasoline cars have spontaneously exploded in fire. Some even after recalls to prevent that.

Nah, he drinks water; that 5$ per hour are his allowance for his foosball games.
