I don't think so. I don't have the article in front of me, but I think all that was left was an invisible body. Trinity's conciousness had left, and the physical body was waiting for cleanup.
you have to leave the computer to sleep? I pity you. I have a couch in front of mine. if I didn't have to eat or go to the bathroom, I'd never have to move.
My friend got a similar one while trying to run windows 3.1. After typing "win" at the prompt, he was greeted with: "This program requires Microsoft Windows to run."
What if you converted the requested filename to lowercase, and then tried to match it with the lowercase version of the files in the directory? I know that this would be fairly easy to implement in BASIC (That's the only programming language I know, but I'll be learning C/C++ soon, I hope.)if there are multiple matches, then you could give a selection dialog.
Wouldn't it be cool if random people throughout the country could mod laws? People who have voted, paid their taxes, etc. are given points so they can mod laws as offtopic, redundant, flamebait(all of which apply to the law currently under examination.) Laws with ratings below a certain number, (I'd say probably 2) would not be enforced. And the representitives would have karma based on ratings of laws they voted for, with bonuses for creation of good bills and filibusters against bad laws.
First, survelliance without a court order is unconstitutional. This portion of the bill will surely be stricken down by the Supreme Court.
Unfortunately, a hacker/cracker has to be arrested, tried, and convicted, and then appeal the case all the way to the supreme court. This is a long, expensive process. Even then, the Supreme Court has to accept the case which requires at least 4 of the justices to accept the case. Then, and only then, will there be the option of declaring it unconstitutional.
Some people really are upstanding honest citizens who lead perfectly normal (some may say boring) lives, and are perfectly happy doing so.
That doesn't change the fact that not everyone is as "upstanding" as you. Some people do enjoy Star Trek/Star Wars/Buffy/Simpsons. Everybody has a right to privacy, and that includes people who don't need it because they have "nothing to hide."
Well, in Tetris you only have to track one object at a time. So Tetris might improve reflexes, but not tracking ability

If all people are created equal, why does the devil want to persecute Christians? Why not just persecute everyone?
Please note that .ogg will be an exception, because software released under the BSD license can never be evil.

If I'm reading the article correctly, the salad dressing will still be the same, but you won't have to shake it first.

Yeah, except that they didn't forget it. Did you even read the post? Look at steps 3 and 4.
only if it could do something about it. A copier that would replenish it's own paper supply whenever it ran out would be cool.

If hacking results in death, perhaps I can understand
This bill only allows life sentences for crimes that result in deaths. It does not lay down a blanket sentence for all hacking.

I do, however agree with the rest of your post.
What about Sirhan Sirhan?
