Plus the sound of an American accent is akin to the compression used in television commercials to make them seem louder. Americans seem louder when they are talking at the same level as others.../theory
I have fond memories of when I was first shown quake. A friend had it running and was showing me how good it was, I was a bit underwhelmed and I didn't really get the "true-3d" untill he killed a monster and then said to me.. look it doesn't rotate as he walked around it.
I'm not so sure about that, yes there will always be people that will never pay for anything but I think the vast majority of consumers would prefer to pay a sufficiently small flat rate for the conveniance of all you can eat music/tv shows/movies. Sure I could go out and download mp3s off gnutella or whatever but it is completely potluck when it comes to quality and what song your actually downloading.
I don't think copying books is that hard with the right hardware. A the copy place I frequent there is a photocopier that is designed to turn the pages of books. You just put a book in on the first page and it copies it all for you, in individual A4 sheets double sided. All you need to do is bind them together and you have a textbook for $40 rather then $120.
I never really understood this. Why should schools be providing lunch to students anyway? I come from Australia and we were never given a lunch, we all bought our own. I don't remember anyone going hungry and I don't ever remember someone getting teased for what they had for lunch.
Well I don't know about other parts of the world but saying Woot around here was an exclamation of excitement, its only since the internet age came about that people started substituting the o's with zero's.
I think you have to take films in their context though. I love T2 much more then the first one I realise its not the best film artistically, however for sheer action value I can't think of a better film. Lets face it no one sat down with the script of Terminator 2 and thought it would be winning any oscars. They set out to make a fun film to watch and it payed off in spades. No matter how many times I watch it I never get sick of it..../fanboy

Thats what you think...
Now to find out the combination...
Dear WIPO,
Screw you all and the horses you rode in on.
Thank you,
Frogbert
I just assumed it was a game that was at least four times as good as half-life.
You know its the weirdest thing, over here in Australia I get the exact same effect... only in reverse.
How strange.
Were you also copying a 17meg file perchance?
So's your comment, get used to it.
Yeah gnomemeeting is all good providing you want to talk to the 27 geeks and overweight starwars nuts that use it.

And lets face it any Unix/Irix/Non-Windows operating system is going to have access to a much fatter pipe then your average windows system.
Asshat!

I'm gay.. I've got it made in the shade.
Couldn't you just ban access to clients comming in with the Casinos referrer? /n00b
yeah that will be great until 6000 other people do it.
Well I'm no expert but one would think a metal grill would stop all but the most determined of marine wildlife.

You might be able to, however if you open it to check you'll change the outcome.
Forget the hidden message! I should sue the FBI for giving me a seasure.
I can and I did, however I shouldn't have to. I think we should just pick whichever one is the most popular and have everyone stick to it.
Can the rest of the world have those measurements in units we can understand?
