Can you say formula movies do not work? Good, I knew you could.

From another perspecive, we use to post inventory transaction to our ERP system at the bandaide level, creating 100,000 inventory journals a day. This is a large load for a hospital's ERP and makes financial analysis a headache. I would do an use case to determine the 'real' granularity needed for the data. Actually it is the Newton's Law of Gravitation. A theory is a comprehensive explanation of a given set of data that has been repeatedly confirmed by observation and experimentation and has gained general acceptance within the scientific community but has not yet been decisively proven. We have had theories proven wrong before.

I think the real issue is that we have too many people trying to prove everyone else is stupid and wrong when they should be working on turning their theory into a law.

My personal belief is a mixture of Evolution and Intellectual Design. Does it make me better then everyone else? No. Does it make me less intelligent then everyone else. Hardly. People treat Science as a religion and treat 'real' religions as crutches for the weak, when it is they who are trying to cover over their own feelings of inadequacy. Remember, a real atheist would not try to convert people.

In relative expenses, print is so much more Capital Intensive compared to On-line. Not only that, but the turn-around required to post a story is faster with web-based publishing. Most economic projections show that charging 50% less for a yearly subscription for significantly faster news response is over 200% more profitable when going to a web-based readership.

They should offer a paid service for stories over 2 months old and delay stories by 15 minutes to an hour for non-subscribers. In addition, have specialized content for subscribers. With no required signup to see the free content, they would encourage people to check out the site. I believe they would end up with a decent return on investment.
