If god is all powerful, could he make a stone so heavy even he couldn't lift it.
Yes. Of course if he actually did that, he no longer would be all powerful. But that's OK, because absolute power includes the power to take your own power away.
The most sensible propositions are "it is news for nerds" and "it is stuff that matters. The logical conjunction therefore is "it is news for nerds and it is stuff that matters." Which clearly is not fulfilled if it is not news for nerds.
Actually the Holocaust wasn't against a religious target. It was against a "race" (because Hitler considered Jews to be a race). It didn't help you if you had never been of Jewish religion. All what counted was if you had Jewish ancestors. It was pure racism, only tangentially related to religion.
So it is justice if he kills the daughter of a police officer? Even if you think that killing random police officers is justified for whatever reason, I can't even think of the most twisted argument that makes killing their families justified.
I'm against outlawing speech. I am for outlawing the religious. Unfortunately I'd be the one in the camp because 99% of the world is part of the former. There isn't a camp that could be created large enough for this group.
Outlawing the religious? You want to outlaw people? And do so based on what they believe?
They won't see earth-rises. Remember, the moon always shows us (approximately) the same side, which means that as seen from the moon, the earth will always be (approximately) at the same place in the sky.
Well, as soon as they have lunar radio telescopes, and due to that a regular traffic to the moon, soon there will be people who want to live up there. They will claim it would be a violation of their freedom rights if they are not allowed to live up there. They will of course claim they are absolutely OK with all the restrictions because of the radio telescopes.
Then, after the moon homes are established, sooner or later they'll no longer be OK with the restrictions.
Amazon would never be so ineffective. They certainly would file several patents on this: One for rotating an object in order to get it seated, and another one for stopping the rotation at the point where it is seated, both with subclauses for the case that the object is a light bulb, that the place it is put into is a light bulb socket, and that the direction of rotation is clockwise (and to be on the safe side, also a subclause for the case where you put it in by counter-clockwise rotation). Then two further patents for removing the old light bulb. In addition, one on selecting the correct light bulb for the socket. Not to forget the patent for the method of detecting when a light bulb has to be replaced by checking if light is emitted by it when a voltage is applied.

In which way?
I always read comments like "PS is better" or "Gimp is better", but those are usually just claims without giving any substance.
So please elaborate: What is better in Photoshop Elements than in Gimp?
No. He's too old to be admitted to the conclave.

How many Popes does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Popes don't screw. Not even in a light bulb.

Hmmm ... "correlated eruption"? ;-)

As opposed to arming the helicopters?
No, he's an evil ex-cop. He might have been an evil cop before, but since he isn't a cop any more, he's not an evil cop now.
So it's basically what we know as Spezi in Germany (and what Pepsi already has sold here for quite some time under the name "Schwip Schwap")?
Because otherwise, who would buy all those Christmas presents?
But hey, he may get lauded by Tanenbaum for staying with a microkernel design.
Why should I bother to use this kernel? What benefit would it give me over using just the regular Linux kernel or *BSD?
Its name is a mutually recursive acronym!

It's a government-uttered spell which makes the sticks sharp. If the government utters the counter-spell, the sticks stop being sharp.
The way to end that war is to take away the sharp sticks from everyone involved.
Humpty Dumpty, is that you?

Throughput via 4 Terabyte drives shipped overnight via fedex is not bad at actually, that latency FTMFL though...
And what about the dropped packet rate?

Why would a donkey have sex w/ a mare? Just to get the horse riled?
Because a mare is a female horse or donkey.
