I like this. For example, I do not wear shirts with logos because I am not receiving ad revenue for it. oh and I don't care if the shirt was pricier or cheaper because of subsidizing by the company of the logo to the t-shirt maker. The shirt should be free(Google model, now c'mon) at least.
If they contract me to a 6Mbit connection, then I want to be able to use my 6Mbit connection as much as I damn well want. Sounds like a bad faith bargain to me. That like selling me a car but hope that I don't keep things in the trunk all the time. That's like selling me a 40 Gig hard-drive, but it only has 10 gigs, and they just assumed that I won't use all of it.
Oh I'm sure there is some hidden clause in their contract... But the fact is that they advertise 6Mbit connection, not 6Mbit if everyone only download a couple of megs a month.
They should guarantee and advertise a minimum constant speed, and stick with it.
I hate it too. Democrats are afraid that if they vote against it and a terrorist kills a bunch of people, then the democrats are gonna look weak, and stupid, and then they WILL lose the election.
See, the problem is that the President **could** let a terrorist plot succeed right before the election by directing the CIA or FBI to do other things. He **could** make the democrats look weak and unable to defend America right before the election, and by claim that the plot would have been stopped by wire tapping.
Sure, he could get blamed after investigation for being complicit, but that would be after the fact(election fact, that is)
Agnosticism is like doubting Thomas, really. Understandable. Atheism is potentially as blind as belief in God may possible be blind; atheism is a belief that is made no matter the evidence. Science is agnostic. Atheism and theism are the ones that rest on a certain amount of faith.
Omission is not equal to declaration. Yes, democrats are likely to do things also. However, after the Florida fiasco, maybe republicans should feel a little shame and shut the hell up.
Main Problem: NO experience, or education etc would increase a person's dependence on career staffers to give advice. Career staff members could gain enormous power and become targets for corruption.
,p> The end-result may not be as free and democratic as you'd like.
Greeeeaaaat. Now Republicans can triangulate and send police to arrests blacks on election day even MORE effectively. Let freedom ring, eh KKK??? How about we pass, and keep America's vote clean and fair.
Seriously, If you make a SIM card an official method of citizen identification, attach it to political affiliation, and then match it with a cell phones ability to be triangulated, then Big BROTHER is here in a big way.
He has published over 50 peer reviewed articles, invited to over 50 Major talks, He is a member over over 15 panels and review boards, and much more. Give it a rest.
He's certainly not just some dude from California, as you suggested.
In Soviet Russia, You just aren't what you don't not (2.0) do.
Is the game appreciably cheaper? How much are you worth? A dollar? Two? Twenty? They should pay you for the opportunity to show you ads.

Don't open the box dummy. Then it is easy to return.

Just some crazy hypotheticals...
I think parent's intent was to make a joke, not to be insightful.

Map your hard disk with it, just for fun. I am also exploring its utility in detecting trends within my psychological/experimental data.
In other News: Scientists conclude God doesn't exist after scientists give acid to patients who then have a religious experience.
Very good point. I wish your post was at the top of the page.
