The only way to know for sure is to lock everyone out of your site and require them to log in with a username and pass. Considering some couples may share an account it's the only definitive way to know exactly how many users access your site in a given time frame.
I too have an Athlon with 2gb and while playing EQ as well as other games alt-tabbing is SO nice.
Don't forget to disable the windows swap file with 2gb+!
So where are the numbers on how many people wash their hands after using the toilet?
How many of you have gone to the bathroom this morning and come straight back to your computers?
I owe my entire career to gaming. I'm not a 'professional gamer' but I did learn the gamut of pc tweaking and repair as well as the basics of networking simply because I wanted to play doom with more than one person at a time.
I completely agree with you on this! If you truly care about your job and feel you were unjustly fired you should step up and fight. In doing so I agree with Angostura in that you need to communicate with the CEO's, letting them know you are an asset and not a threat. After all, you know their network and you COULD be a threat but you have to let them know where your allegiance lies.
It's like your significant other bitching because you mentioned Gweneth Paltrow being hot. Sure you'd like to hit it but you love your wife. She cares for you and takes are of you.
Bandwidth is definitely a commodity just like any other resource. However, I do feel that unless your ISP should give you what you purchased. If there's nothing in the fine print detailing the 'acceptable' throughput with actual numbers they should be forced to honor the original contract.
Sounds like some of the same glitzy tactics the homegrown web hosts pull.
UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH!
only to discover you're only allowed so many ~processes~ every 30 days.
The coolest thing an ISP ever said to me was when I was using Telocity. I don't remember if DirecTV had bought them out at this time but their representative commented on their policies on running game/ftp/web servers and he says "it's your bandwidth, we want you to use it!"
My jaw dropped.
Perhaps this is why they're no long in business!?
^^.p
Didn't Chris Rock once joke about how there would be less murders if bullet prices went up?
Killing people and making babies are two different things.
Make love not war?
"P.S. Remember that it is likely the computer you are using now (IBM-CLONE) would not be here without the work of people reverse engineering the original IBM desktop computers."
Rad.
So beccause you bought my tv I don't want you to ever get rid of it. It it breaks, I'm telling you that we're the only ones that can fix it and if you do take it somewhere then we can sue you.
Wow, this was well put.

What kind of nonsense is this? That's like saying because someone has a password protected machine/network they're up to no good.
Let me remind you, common sense is not so common.
Did anyone mirror this? I'm interested in their topology.
FBI doesn't work weekends.

Bad analogy but I'm sure you get the point.
Best of luck to you!
