    The NY times had a reporter make up stories (along with other media outlets) http://slate.msn.com/id/2082741 I would call the NY times just as left as fox is to the right... Which is why when I find a story interesting I do fact checking against it.

    If you believe everything you are fed from the media you are stupid regardless of where it comes from. Because everyone has an agenda.

    If Al Franken told you to check ALL facts that you hear from the media not just -- I hate the right-wing media, like Fox and Rush Limbaugh. Then I could agree with him. But Al Franken is no different than what he criticizes.

    I don't think so. Does AWARD have to give out the source code of the bios that boots your linux desktop? NO.

    The bios is not the OS it comes before the OS and they can put it under any license they want if they wrote it from scratch.

    Also the Boot loader is not the OS if they wrote it from scratch using no GPL code they do not have to release it under the GPL.

    Just because it runs linux or runs on linux they do not have to give you any code that is not licensed under the GPL.

    They do have to give you the source to the GPL licensed code.

    If you need me to dumb it down for you I can. Have you read the GPL?

    How is saying that you can use this as long as your code is distributed under the GPL for free, against the terms of the GPL? Maybe against the terms of a BSD lic. but not the GPL.

    If you want to keep your code closed, then pay or use a different toolset. If you are going to profit and not give anything back, then why should trolltech give you anything? Sounds hypocritical to me.

    If you do private non-distributed development and they want to require a "commercial" license call is beta code. Who is going to know if it isn't distributed?

    Now that I have defeated your complaint, QT will be release under a GPL lic. on Windows. --RTFA

    I guess you also hate MySQL and hundreds of other open source projects that dual license their code.

    Who cares if his OS is "better" if it doesn't support my hardware. Linux supports it, it works with it. It does not work with OpenBSD.

    Compare OpenBSD to Linux on my hardware Theo your OS sucks on it.

    KDE has already done this... there is a little orange rss logo at the bottom right hand of the web browser when you visit a site with an RSS feed. You click it and it is added to KDE's RSS reader.

    open the source code and look under /docs folder. There is a credit.txts file. also a copy of the GPL. also look in the header files for copyright info. They give credit to Miranda.

    It looks like they moved the copyright notices around. But I don't think that is a copyright violation...

    I still think the company sucks for adding spyware.

    Unfortunatly they dont show any of the innovation of kmail. Like integrated Gnupg/PGP support, that is color coded, green header and footer if the key is good. It will automatically sign using GnuPG and or encrypt the message if you have a key assigned to that email address. It makes using GnuPG seemless.

    They don't show industrial strength spam filter plug-ins as an option in kmail. They are automatically detected on your system if they are installed. You check a few boxes and have spam protection.

    Maybe they didn't offer screenshots on these "sad features" because microsoft has not "innovated" them yet.

    The other thing they did not cover is price ;) retail price on outlook is $109US
