In addition, the NSA errm sorry, NASA said they are particularly interested in keeping a close eye on the carbon emissions from Russia, Syria, China, and North Korea.
In order to own a gun, at least in Victoria, you have to compete in a certain number of competitions per year. Essentially making it cost prohibitive. You can however join a club and rent "gun time" at the target range and use one of their guns. I know a girl who's a "gun nut" near Melbourne and she said on the one hand she feels that they should be allowed to own a gun but she said that everyone there's a horrible shot because they have no experience.
Now all the spammers will get their servers overloaded. If they send out millions of e-mails and they all immediately get "opened" by google trying to pull in the picture data.
EPA emissions on cars regarding greenhouse gas emissions have to cover all amounts emitted including gasses released from paint, used in the making of plastics and tires. By adding this button they facilitate a way to release smoke and other gasses from the tires into the air.
US University costs are high because they know you're going to get loans and grants to help pay for it. If it wasn't so easy to get assistance from the government they would have to compete. Before all the loans and grants you could easily afford a college degree on part time wages.
My wife who in general has no interest in Science Fiction has sat and watched episodes of Voyager with me, she seems to show interest in this show more so than other sci fi shows I've watched. (If she doesn't whip out the kindle, I know she's interested). I think she likes Neelix. She actually asks questions about characters and I think likes Janeway as a character. And whenever the Kazon are around I think I can tell she's thinking "oh that bitch Seska is back". We haven't made it to any 7 of 9 episodes yet, but we'll see how that goes. Perhaps it's the number of strong female characters in the show that interests her. I do get irritated at times though with a lot of the non-action Voyager episodes, ala lets strand two characters on a planet like Neelix and Tuvok and watch them argue, or lets strand Janeway and Chakotay and see if they have sex.
I've seen pretty much all the TOS and TNG, I didn't really care as much for DS9, but will watch it if on. I think the freshness of Voyager and the lack of connection to TOS or TNG makes it good for beginners. You don't have to explain the nuances of nearly as many species, just Klingon and Vulcan, everything else explains itself as it goes along.
I think it's like a DVR, it is technically always recording, it just doesn't start holding the stored data until you hit the record button, or in this case a sound spike related to a gunshot. That's why you can go back up to 15 minutes on most DVR devices as long as it had been on and tuned to the same station.
I'd bet when it hears a shot, it immediately "Saves" the data in the buffer so you have a lead-up to the shot being fired. Assuming that the shot spotter is being used to gather evidence rather than just call the police when the sound spikes.
It seems like any hacker can do something and claim to be part of Anonymous. Just like any middle eastern group can claim to be part of Al Qaeda or Hamas. Osama Bin Laden actually wrote that he was concerned that so many groups claiming to be tied to Al Qaeda was confusing and diluting their message and also they didn't like getting credit for shoddy or failed operations.
How about we stop sending government money to schools that keep their rates too high? Schools have found out that they can make more money if they raise their tuitions and still get money from the government. They've found out that they can keep their rates so high because they know that students can get loans and grants. Everyone complains about the 1% and high fuel prices, I say we look at the accounting books at colleges. I would say this is a better way of helping more people get into school than feeding the schools. Remember that cat or dog that arrived at your door one day when you were a kid? What did your parents tell you "Don't feed it! Otherwise it won't ever leave" and what did you do? You fed it, and what did it do? It stayed and wouldn't leave.
Yeah, but your government has significantly higher taxes on gasoline. Which to me doesn't make since because the UK has a population density of 255/KM^2 and the US has a density of 32/KM^2 and we have many many times the miles of roads that the UK has.
I would think that you would still have to read the location of the cluster before writing to it. Sure you can flip magnetic particles N > S or S > N at bazillions per second speed but if you don't know what you're flipping that's not good.
I'd love to have one with more than 128 or 256MB ram. I wonder if the Broadcom SOC design allows for piggybacking a larger chip on top?
I'm sure a model B with 1GB of RAM wouldn't be out of the question at a price point of $50. I realize we're just going more and more "I want" in price but I think it would be nice to have that extra headroom

BestBuy sells H2O wireless SIMs that do not come with phones. The card says use with any unlocked GSM phone.
Wait... If I understand this correctly you're saying "It's hard to get extra hours when you're busy working all the time" ?
Obviously a comment by someone who doesn't have it.

Just because there are no guns in the UK doesn't mean people aren't murdered.

You'd have thought they learned their lesson when dealing with Bobby Tables, aka "Robert'); DROP TABLE Students;

With all those datacenters the town won't be that cold for long.
Nobody wants to listen to songs 160 bytes at a time.
No I won't shop like him. He's obviously not very good with money.
I'm sure they'll be uninstalled shortly.
Is they stop working after about 5 minutes and someone has to replace or repair it so it starts working again.
Just just tell them that some industry analysts predict 2012 to be the year of the Linux Desktop!
Because the browser is part of the OS, the RAM is already in use as part of the windows explorer.

And then they eliminate you...
