Netscape is free. Real Player is free. QuickTime is free. So they are not under cutting the competion in price. But they are bundled with the OS. I know that MS has not shown their cost, but if they pay someone to work on it, it has a cost.

Also airbags are not free, they are mandated by the government. So airbags and IE are not the samething. I gues you could include the review mirrors in this arguement, but they too have a price, even through they cannot be deleted usuallly.

Almost everything on a car can be deleted if you want. And almost every item delete will return money to your pocket. Some do cost to get removed, and other are mandated by law, like seatbelts and airbags. MS has no laws telling what to include and not include, so IE and WMP are extra cost install by a monopoly to kill competition.

Windows has more drivers, not drivers that are easier to use. Actually you normally have to have drivers supplied by the Hardware vender under windows, while Linux either has the driver in the kernel or not. It cannot get any easier to setup a printer than it is in Mandrake. Simply click about 4 buttons and you are done. My HP 2110 PSC work out of the box with a few button clicks. I still trouble getting my crappy Brother MVP350 working with Windows( 98 FIrst Edition though ). Thing either work or don't with Linux. Things usually have trouble eventually with Windows.

If I copy all every song off the radio onto my pc and then start a web site where people can download for free I guess that would put me in the whosgou( SP) , ie jail. So I can copy songs as long as I do not share them. The Radio can share them with me but not share the blame when I copy them to the internet.

I think I starting to see their point. P2P does not allow the record companies a fee based system for them to get their cut when I share the song with others. I can only share a song with those in the listening area and if I allow others to know about what I like via P2P I am a criminal. But I geuss if I paid the RIAA a fee for each play, I would be ok even if I do not make any money. WOW I guess I should play any music and the RIAA will be happy.
