No actually you aren't. Too lazy to google it now, but it was here on/. and many other places about a guy who refused and tried to leave and was threatened with a $10k fine
I imagine that an anchored weather balloon or five acting as your lift with a basket underneath would work well. Seems cheap enough, esp since you don't need to go superultralight on your hardware (just very light)
How would such a system know if I am typing on my normal keyboard vs. using an on-screen one on a tablet vs. using a coworkers "ergonomic" keyboard vs. being interrupted in the middle of typing my password by my kids?
Must be the new shows - all the Dr Who I watched (first thru 5th doctor) all the military units were on loan from the Brits so they all toted the FN-FAL/L1A1
They blanket ban these things because they don't trust their employees to be intelligent enough to recognize the difference between a dangerous weapon and a bottle of shampoo or Coke.
IF all you want is an e-reader, the Kindle is much better than the nook or anything else.
If you want other functionality, I'd get the nook. Got one 2 months ago, put HC 3.0 on it, it worked but had some issues. Put CM7 on it and it just rocks.
Thanks. However, I'm 3000 miles away in N Florida, and I'll never go back to California again now that my grandparents are dead and I don't need to go have dinner with them a few times per year.
I've always thought a great business would be a complete machine shop and wood working shop, along with a small supplies type place. Rent a work space and equipment (and someone who knows how to use it) on a per-hour basis. Lots of projects can be done in a few hours, if you have the tools to do it. Heck, I've got a few that I need to do but the equipment to do one project would make it a $5000 job...
Of course, the killer here besides start up costs to equip would be the insurance. Of course, firing ranges can get insured so it is possible....
I pay $0 for an all-I-can Safari... of course, it is bought by my county library system, and I pay taxes and donate to the library system specifically, so I guess I do pay something...
Perfectly legal to do it. Just gotta get a tax stamp from the BATFE first.
Only firearms modification that isn't legal (on a fed level) is making a full auto - that particular registry has been closed off to new additions since May 1986.
Yup, teaching to the test. Of course, teaching to the test is perfectly valid and works great.... if you have a good test. Problem is that not many states that do this have good tests.
Lets take the kid out of the equation and substitute something else that is often sensationalized - gun buying.
Mayor Bloomberg of NYC hired some folks in Arizona to go to a gunshow and purchase arms from private individuals. Nothing in Arizona law prevents person to person transfers, and Fed law only requires that both parties be residents of the same state and the transaction take place in that state. So legal for a non-Felon Arizona citizen to buy/sell to/from another non-Felon.
But... Bloomberg wants to close that awful "gunshow loophole". So he has the persons he hired lie and ask if there was a background check, "'cause I prolly can't pass it"
End result? No charges filed, no nothing, because the individuals were in fact not prohibited from buying guns. In fact, Bloomberg had to write Arizona a nice fat check over the whole deal.
Here at the college I work at, yes it is outsourced.
Students access it via a single sign on link from within our home grown SIS, and are redirected to gmail.
Students only have their password to the SIS - the pw for the actual gmail account (on a subdomain of my.educationalinstitution.edu) is not known, so even if the students knew they could use POP or IMAP to access it, they don't have a working password to access it with.
Not only that but some schools use a single sign on for their gmail service, and you don't actually have a password to use should you want to use IMAP or POP. Stuck with the web interface, which brings in the ADA compliance stuff.
This is what the 2nd amendment is for... and yes, I'd rather let them get armed up and fight for their own darn freedom than the US get involved in yet another land war/police action in Asia^HAfrica...

The problem isn't that it is a phone, but rather, it is a computer with phone functionality. Would you tote around a laptop w/ no firewall or AV?
How would such a system know if I am typing on my normal keyboard vs. using an on-screen one on a tablet vs. using a coworkers "ergonomic" keyboard vs. being interrupted in the middle of typing my password by my kids?
Indeed. Who needs social networking, instant messages, etc. Just finger me!

Yup, C96 broomhandle
And of course the stargate guns are based on the FN P-90 (full auto) or PS-90 (semi only).
They blanket ban these things because they don't trust their employees to be intelligent enough to recognize the difference between a dangerous weapon and a bottle of shampoo or Coke.
Actually, either could make a handy weapon ...

That theory died around 1861...

Every single male should be able to produce 3 kick ass dinners and a great breakfast. Will help said single male to become a not single male.
I got that, along with "repair" level sewing, some cooking, and baking skills when I took Home Ec.
Being the only straight male in class with 24 females was just a bonus.
Check your local library.
The one I use (aclib.us) has a Safari subscription available via your card number. Plenty of subjects to choose from.
While the planes and ordinance is neat, I prefer the platform (or chassis) for Wicked Weasel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wicked_Weasel
It is a compile time option and I don't think any of the major distributions use it when packaging apache...

How does the presence of a comment (or several hundred for that matter) change the compile time?
