I thought so as well, then I read the fine print on the Cox website. Your plan has probably changed and is at 250GB transfer limit. YMMV but it is here in Orange County, CA.
I suppose if you are cherry picking religious quotes it is, but I find it odd that people seem to latch on to particular ones like this and forget the rest of the bible as if it contains blank pages.
It's not illegal to issue cayenne8's cool club card ID's, but to create a fake government issued ID isn't legal. Otherwise what's the point of having a government issued ID if people can just start selling nearly perfect or perfect copies openly? Might as well print your own $100 bills.
We used to drag our machines over to some guys house along with 15-20 other people and just start the copy fest of 360KB disks. It was a bit tedious I suppose but at least the net wasn't faceless then.
To be fair though, I believe San Diego or at least parts of it are Republican strongholds due to Pendleton and Coronado, etc. Just like Orange County is a Republican stronghold. It does seem to be changing however.
The game Syberia was a bit like Myst but the puzzles weren't quite as bizarre, although I did end up having to look for how-to's I wasn't as stumped as I was with Myst.
Apple lost me on iTunes. Either through the constant sync or corruption of the device on an upgrade, etc. It seemed that nothing I did would make my iTunes MP3's organize properly even after manually editing the tags. And now my iPad v1 crashes Safari on a daily basis and the blame is "complex web pages". I'm still into the iPhone, because it has been rock stable for me but I'd get an android tablet in the future.
Supposedly Irvine actually has a higher number of tech companies in it than Silicon Valley, but that may be a local urban legend. Either way, I wish people would move out.:)
As for there being "nothing to do," I'm not sure where you get that notion; we get the same movies/music/etc as everywhere else... Plus, unlike Cali, we get to play with guns and 4x4's pretty much unfettered.
Have you ever been to California? The desert here is pretty much full of guns and 4x4's. Heck I live in the middle of Orange County and can get off road in 15 minutes. Ever skied and surfed in the same day? Not gonna happen in Hicksville.
I really liked the fact that the movies were long and they didn't try to wrap it up in 90 minutes or two hours. Actually they could have gone longer as far as I'm concerned. I'm crossing my fingers that the Hobbit will be of the same quality and then one day I'll have to watch them all in a 15 hour+ marathon.
He has $100,000,000,600 now after my massive Amazon purchase today. I expect some gratitude here!

Why wouldn't the companies being sued use that information in their defense then? Or rather, why didn't it work?

It probably wouldn't survive a gunshot coming out of the wall either, but I mean really? People are going to go around wiring 480 volt USB cables?

I wonder if Anthony Weiner's wiener pic would end up violating this law. Didn't the girl release it?

I only use one time pads, flown by camouflaged carrier pigeons. Might be slow, but it's secure dammit!

You are ruining the credibility of the elderly there AC.

It sure is, especially on your blog. I love it! Matt for President!!! Oops...
Hah, that was funny wasn't it? If only I had your Maser like wit.

Well, fuck you too then.

Do you feel better now?

This is Slashdot, of course I didn't read the article and no idea what the journals credibility is either.

Why does this remind me of so many cold fusion stories I've seen?

Who'd want to hear all the moronic comments via speech synthesis on YouTube? The 14 year old rabble dominates nearly every video.

It's a discussion forum, not a criminal trial. Take a break already.

It wasn't a question. You are just spamming the thread with the same post at this point. But I guess if that gives you your jollys...
