Kinda..
Return of the Jedi was supposed to be on Kasshik(sp?). However, Lucas didn't think people would see the Wookies as primate people because of Chubaka running around fixing starships. Since Lucas wanted a store of primatives facing off against the Glactic Empire Ewoks were invented.
You are correct in that it was determined to be higher than 24fps. I believe 24fps was the minimum for producing smooth convincing motion.
As for what the human eye can see, it was also determined that while people can't see every frame at 100fps, they were able to distinguish between 100fps and 60fps.
I'm not worried about it hitting over 60fps in a game console though because my TV is NTSC which limits it to that.
I am interested in increased processing power that can bring about far more complex scenes that are locked at 60fps so you don't be a jerky slowdown.
While there is no nice GUI menu system this can be done in MSIE. One of the accessability options in IE is to have pages use a custom style sheet. Just define what the tags should be rendered in there and your set.
Or people would rejoice about the end of world hunger.
That's what happens when you have a President, and Vice-President who have tons of ties to big business. "Don't blame me I voted for Kronos"

If you were to send the unpaided bill to a collections agency, and many other did this then it could completely kill his credit rating.

Because Star Trek has that niffy GUI.
