What about the 20 other drunk drives in the same residence that need to get around?
Not to be confrontational but you are looking at it from the wrong end. Users have to be responsible for their machine's traffic. If some of your students decide to join a spam ring and use up all of the bandwidth on the network, what would your solution be?
Mcaffee has started to integrate spyware searches into its antivirus software. However an enterprise solution is really needed. I am really suprised that large corporations are missing this simple cash cow.
The software is a piece of crap anyhow. All of the tax programs are moving towards one use one computer applications and are usually installing spyware to do it. After tax time I would not be surprised to hear that a copy of your filing was sent off to Intuit as well for "record" purposes, not for tracking or selling your information, of course.
They created most of the market dominance through pay-off's and other shadey dealings. Corel and Word Perfect are Canadian, and the Canadian Government about 3 years ago sunk a deal with Corel to supply 100,000 units, to go with microsoft which cost them more than twice as much.
It is about time WP starts pushing back crappy office.
Then MySQL is a moped. Owned by a geek with huge zits.
A minivan would imply that you can use to carry more than a caddy, travel in it and would have some protection in an accident. The moped can only be used on a small scale, is worshipped by losers, and will crumple if you hit anything bigger than a cockroach.
I guess when you are used to the mercenary life style you get that point of view. The places where I worked, have all been incredible places of learning, and comraderie. I guess job satisfaction means nothing to you. I would rather keep an employee that I enjoy working with and make ok money, then work with a steel cold employees that makes me more. This of course is said within reason.
Too many of the steel cold mercenaries caused the super inflated salaries of the dont com boom, and they were not even worth what they were paid. (who do you think got cut first?)
I did not say that I would pay less that market value. I would definitly try to pay someone what they are worth, or at least make the place so enjoyable that you would never want to leave, However there are people that just want the money.
Loyalty, experience, stability, job satisfaction mean nothing to them.
If you are keeping your eyes open, then either your desire is just money, or something else it wrong. My guess is the former.
Then it is obvious that you would be taking off as soon as the next person waves money in your face. Therefore you were not worth all of the effort anyway.
If you do not sow back into the community, as well then you probably are too selfish to fit on any team.
1. God 2. family 3. my employer (because If I take care of them, then they take care of me)
I have an Apex, and 2 DVD drives in my desktops, and one on my laptop. I find it frustrating to watch all of the previews and see that silly warning on the Apex, but on the computers, I just right click and select the chapter to start playing. Beautiful. Now all I have to do is to figure a way to make all of my M*A*S*H eposides play one after another.
It's more like, "We can replicate your revolutionary new technology in 8 hours, big woop."

Do not sign it with a fake name... that is fraud, sign it in pencil. Nothing is leagally binding in pencil.
