    you link to article about glacier that is still there. anyway that glacier and some of those others in that article may well have formed or bulkied up in the "little ice age (not a true ice age admittedly) from 16-19 centuries. Get me alarmed about glaciers NOT in the n. hemisphere just because of that LLA thing.

    no I am not speaking of state level summaries but of per-plant. I am speaking of including both planned and unplanned outages (e.g. steam leak in secondary system so reactor required to trip offline by NRC even though technically no reason to do so). That level has been above 90% since 2000 for reasons of interesting technical improvements, also of which ties into uprating process many plants have successfully done. In short, it is significant technical *fact* and I only see uninformed FUD from anti-nukers here.

    been using Linux Mint since july 2011 but never saw that, which package/apps were involved with that problem? only problems I've had in past were getting nvidia driver to be stable, sometimes the one Mint wanted to install was the best, other times I'd have to manually install order or newer version right from nvidia site. in last 18 months the distro one (with updates) has been stable

    huh? it what way did Linux Mint be a bubble that in any way shape or form "burst"? only thing that happened was wordpress blog cracked and link changed.

    Linux mint offers more than just cinnamon or mate, you seem to be uniformed on the differences.

    You also seem to be grossly exaggerating the event as somehow a bad reflection of Linux Mint quality. Ubuntu and Debian both have done far, far worse things. Like Debian's epic SSL blunder a few years back.

    especially the part where people who might be religiously or philosophically offended at certain hollywood movies now get to have their horizons broadened whether they want it or not. How uplifting of Microsoft.

    I'm thinking of some relatives of mine who lead churches, just wonderful if their computer in church office all of a sudden pops up movie post glamorizing war and/or senseless bloody mayhem, or a woman pole dancing (or otherwise being a sex object) while they are say counselling someone.

    either of those subjects fine with me, by the way, but some people in this world don't have my trashy taste in entertainment, understand?
