    most helium released from the earth is also just vented at many natural gas sites instead of being used; instead of a helium shortage we really just have a neuron in use shortage for now. Raising the bar for industry not to waste and pollute would have many long term benefits

    while I agree the preponderance of "greenies" like you are in fact that stupid, the average car buyer has far more common sense than you and so will pay a third or less for an IC vehicle since the fuel costs for a decade and a half would still be cheaper than a limited range electric car of today

    Professional athletes could disappear and we'd still have amateurs training for Olympics and local school or park system games. I think it would be better for society to focus on those things, which would be more like sports in most of history, rather than professional sports.

    yes I've done extensive php. half our servers are in Drupal stack (hundreds). PHP is crap, so is Drupal (bad bad things needed to scale it.

    when I was little, my parents had wash tub and wringer for doing laundry that they still used occasionally for small jobs even after buying washing machine and dryer later. That was used in conjunction with the folding clothes drying rack. You'd think a variation on that would become popular again for people on budget or not having space/hookups for washing machine/dryer in apartment, it saves money over going to laundromat though takes elbow grease and time

    You are confused, this facility handles waste from weapons program, power production issue are irrelevant.

    The smarter countries in the world are ramping up nuclear power production including bringing online new types of reactors.

    Nuclear power is the future for over half the human race. There are some places where renewables make more sense.

    You don't live in near a big city with congested rush hour? Lots of radio listeners in that situation. I still listen to it at times during the weekend when driving family around.
