possible spoilers...
We saw it last night. The theater was half empty, no one brought their towels and we had some darn kids who had to get up 6 times total during the movie. take them out back and break their legs...
Other than that, I loved it. There were a couple lines missing (did anyone actually hear "hoopy frood" in there?), but Marvin and Arthur were dead on. I liked movie Trillian as more adventurous and less ditzy than the tv Trillian. Zaphod was a little out there.. but he's just this guy, ya know?
The guide was great, the interface was like an TNG kiddie computer. Def as Ford was perfect, he was exactly how I thought of him... crazy enough to jump from planet to planet, but sane enough to make himself blend in. And, the babelfish was cute.
Would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a good wind-down movie. Don't do any serious thinking in this one. Enjoy the one-liners (mostly provided by Marvin) and don't panic.. DNA should be proud up there:)
Using the bare min of personal info (no phishing).
"There still is overwhelming support of a 'do not call list' because we do _not_ want to be called. Our information was offered in good faith that it would be used to stop harrasing calls by telemarketers. Do not allow a loophole to be opened that would destroy the reason this list was created in the first place.
What difference does it make, a live person vs. a pre-recorded message? Other than, "they" don't have to pay for all the telemarketers? Having a recording doesn't allow me to request being removed from their call list. If I wanted to listen to a voice rambling on about a useless product I have no intention of buying, I would have never signed up.
If you provide the callers with this, you are merely giving them the information that I have already removed from their use. How many times must we demand to be left in peace?"
It took a few tries, and it's still barely coherent, i hope i got my point across.
Ok, so let me rephrase that:
What else is there that I'd want to see....
May Yoda forgive me for not having the date burned into my memory.
(of course i'd have to post something "insightful" at work where i post as an AC, blah)
can the schools refuse/demand something else rather than the explict lyrics material? Isn't it illegal to sell it to minors? What is a school going to do with it?
I read through the article but didn't notice, Is this on personal time, or does this include all the salary time spent on sites like/. appearing to be the productive worker?
Could all that radioactive waste that people don't want stored near their house be used as fuel in this kind of vehicle? As we know, space exploration is limited by funding but *IF* we could find an economical way of converting this to fuel, couldn't we clean up the neighborhood down here too?
Probably naive dreaming:)
I've had an influx in the last few weeks of calls and finally lost my temper on the phone. I started jeering the telemarketers that they had till the first before they get fined. i really wouldn't want to disappoint them.
actually, from the news we could get in west michigan...
we were told a. it was NOT terrorism and b. It was NOT canada... in that order. They noted that Canadian officials said "the american side of niagra falls was struck by lightning".
don't think that there are mobs down here yelling 'hang the canuks' for forcing the use of candles for a romantic dinner.

Always multiply your repair estimates by a factor of 4, that's how you keep your reputation as a miracle worker!
By all means, put them in space. Send them on the ships.. but make sure their uniforms are red shirts.
