    I actually understand this one. You see, they came up with the idea, which will take two weeks to implement. (And I'd like to see them take 35,000 pictures "on Wednesday"...)

    However, they can't actually implement it until Bill says yes, which will happen tomorrow.

    It's all very simple when you realize Microsoft's 40,000-odd employees are run by ONE GUY (with some assistance from Steve.) Saddam Hussein had a very efficient dictatorship, too.

    What, I can't compare Bill to Saddam? Why not? Enderle compares everybody using Linux to nuclear terrorists. If Rob and George can do it, why can't I?

    Fascinating, I wonder why Microsoft hires students (other than the brainwashing they can do) when they can hire more professional trolls like Enderle and MoG to do it in more public forums.

    Also, they have 35-40,000 employees. Just set them all up with blogs and flog them every time they mention the word "Linux" (except in FUD terms). Since Ballmer would write the blog text himself, they'd never have to worry about "leaks" such as the memo that said UNIX was better than their stuff.

    I guess Microsoft is inefficient even in propaganda.

    It's little obscure, I grant you.

    Pinnochio's nose grew when he told a lie. But he was basically a good kid (er, puppet), at least as I remember the story. Supposedly he has a good heart and saves Gepetto and becomes a real little boy at the end.

    Larry Ellison ain't a real little boy, but I haven't heard nearly as many lies coming out his mouth as I have Enderle's.

    Problem was I couldn't think of anybody truthful to compare Ellison to.

    While VB.Net has its admirers, I think Mono was more a response to the need to interoperate and prevent MS from taking over Net apps development and locking it in to MS languages, more than it was any "admiration".

    Look, moron. That sort of thing went out ten or fifteen years ago when the Pentium came in.

    You probably program in assembler only, right?

    This rule has been true for the last two decades:
    1) Don't optimize.
    2) Don't optimize - yet.

    The costs and problems caused by a binary only format in interoperability, error recovery, etc. FAR exceed anything having to do with performance.

    Get a clue.

You see, Microsoft doesn't have to pay me, I point out problems with Linux and Open Source because people like you convince me they exist. If you look back at where this all started for me, you'll see that this is true and maybe get a clue. The fact you even need to fabricate a lie like this indicates I'm much closer to the truth then you are.

    You see, in my world there is no excuse for behavior like this, none. It is people like you who give Linux a bad name.
