So having that as a fact, no voice plan should ever charge more than $20 per month for unlimited voice, anything higher is pure ripoffs.

One thing MS does right, is keep ALL old apis, so nothing old fails, linux or OSS guys usually dont care, and say tuff luck, N api is going away, live with it, they have less understanding of their customers, and simply think that 1000000s of people will 'adjust' their code to the new ways. Audio could have been part of DB9 ages ago if they bothered to think ahead, plenty of spare pins there. Bi-Dir audio, again hardly difficult to implement.

People cannot choose different rates, because of arcane stupid plan systems.
They should ban all plans except the paying of phone rate.
Plans have wierd rates of nnn free per month for y plan, then xx free for same network, then others at b prices.
People have no freedom to 'keep plan' but move to different price schemes.
Two year plans should be banned, since most phones die within 18 months instead.

nice for you, but unless you document every script and how to use it, no one knows how you run your shop or can take over.
Sure you could use a fancy gui trigger with tk to call your scripts, or even java.
