    I have found the opposite. Time after time I can point out the simple fact that countries with strict gun control laws tend to have fewer gun related deaths. I have generally found that this very simple fact is usually completely irrelevant to gun control opponents, which is usually an indication that I'm dealing with an unreasonable person.

    Countries with strict gun control laws have fewer gun deaths than those who don't. it's pretty straightforward. I want fewer gun deaths. I don't give a shit about your right to go out to a shooting range with your gun fetish and hit fake targets.

    Countries with strict gun laws have few gun crimes. It's pretty straightforward.

    An assault rifle is a "tool" for killing people. Unfortunately all too many people use it for just that reason.

    The reason for this is that your state, more than any other, has HUGE amounts of meth addiction.

    Seriously, Missouri is so fucked.

    The only states even close are Ten. and Indiana. You guys actually need to be doing waaaaay more than making people show ID for over the counter meds.

    There is nothing new about this. I once worked for a guy who bragged to me that as a kid in new Zealand, one of his first hacking exploits was to get into the Auckland traffic control systems and randomly change all the lights to red. He thought it was hilarious. He was an idiot.

    But of course, as people continually point out to Catholic apologists, who basically just blissfully ignore this, the Public School system administration does not set itself up as a moral authority on how to obtain eternal life, which the Catholic Church does.

    The school system can't be accused of hypocrisy, because they are not setting themselves up as moral authorities. In short, why should the average human being listen to what church leaders say on morality when they protect those who are clearly immoral on a regular basis?
