"what do we have to be afraid of"? What if Ms succeedes in getting Linux illegal to use in several countries. You couldn't even get on the net without being "discovered" as not using Ms OS. At that time they coudl go after all of us and in order to use the net we would have to use Ms. No, Ms needs to be stopped at all cost.
Many years ago someone made a device that monitored the "in-between frame" of a TV signal. What it watched for was information that signified a commercial. The people who paid for a commercial did not want to watch to see that all say 20 commercials were aired during a 24 hour period. They had this box which would count every time this information came up. On the old TV sets with a vertical hold potentiometer you could get this bar in the middle of the screen and watch what it did. Well someone made a device which also monitored this information and would pause your VCR during commercials and resume after. The inventor of this device was either paid off for his patent or sued out of existence. It seems to me that this could be looked at for MythTV
I don't think so. I would boot from a live CD distro and then examine the USB stick. If I was really worried about my hard drive I would completely disconnect it then boot from a Live CD and examine the USB stick.
Oh yes they do. I just bought two "business class" desktop machines (Dimension 5150) and one "business class" Laptop (Inspiron 6000). They all came with this garbage. Two of the machines took me the better half of the day to remove. The last one I just fdisk and started from scratch. This machine now runs better than the first two which leads me to believe the uninstall's don't remove everything.
Ok so you're shoping at your favorite store with shoes, sox, pants, shirt, underware? all of which has RFID tags. Does this mean as you check out you are charged again for this stuf you already bought? I will figure out a way to destroy RFID tags
Obviously they do (like criplleware). Otherwise windows wouldn't be as popular as it is. Wait until M$ ships a new OS and these people will be there at midnight to purchase at full price.
