Entrapment is something only the authorities can do.
Elimination clearly doesn't refer to execution (how in the world could you think it does, when you seem to acknowledge that the kid's hope is to catch the guard acting improperly?).
While the kid might have been in error, your reasons are ludicrous, bordering on slander.
Firefox was never a panacea. Using Firefox never guaranteed anyone immunity against the various pitfalls that come with using Windows. And, so far as I know, Firefox was never entirely free of vulnerabilities.
That said, Firefox will always retain a competitive advantage over IE. Fixes and workarounds are released with astonishing speed, especially when compared with IE--this is because Firefox is Open Source, but more importantly because it is free. The developers have nothing to lose by releasing a patch, by admitting to having written something less than perfect. There is no corporate reputation at stake; therefore, using Firefox will always be inherently safer than using IE. That safety gap will only widen with time.
Nintendo has become the Apple of the gaming industry. Consider:
1. They have market dominance in a market for small, stylish portable devices that lack the raw power of some other devices, but compete on "the complete package."
2. They are more or less a niche competitor in the console market, but maintain the edge in innovation and generally exhort their customers to "Think Different," though not quite so explicitly as Apple. Yet.
Nintendo would do well to emulate Apple's strategies. Increase perceived "style." Appeal to those who consider themselves too "cool" for video games. Nintendo already turns a profit doing what they do, but they can't compete with MS or Sony in volume. This is the only way.
In the same way that zero is a number--it's special, and doesn't follow the same rules.
Style is about filling in the blanks between representation and reality. If the "style" is to mimic as closely as possible, the space for artistic expression necessarily decreases.
Realism and style (maybe stylism would be more appropriate) aren't literal opposites, but in this context they are in opposition.
That said, Wind Waker was beautiful. So-called realistic games fall too short of the mark--better to make something beautiful with the tools you have than to try to make them do something they can't.
My company was going to start porting our software to the Mac. Now we will hold off for at least 3 years. I bet more than a few other software developers will do the same.
Why would this decision make you less likely to port to a Mac? You were just complaining about endianness and other architectural issues--those just got a whole lot easier for you. In fact, just about everything about porting will be considerably easier for you and your company now, so unless you guys are chomping at the bit for an excuse not to port to OS X, you're making a silly misjudgement.
Man, you really got played there. Have some dignity.
Looses doesn't mean loosens. Irony abounds.

If that were the case, what kind of idiot would sell (or buy) a non-resistant car?
People in Nigeria speak English natively.
Internet access is easy to come by.
Not that they aren't educated Nigerians--they might be. But your evidence doesn't mean much.
Sorry, but as of May 2, 2005, Movielink no longer supports Windows 98 and ME operating systems. Movielink also does not support Mac or Linux.
In order to enjoy the Movielink service, you must use Windows 2000 or XP, which support certain technologies we utilize for downloading movies.
Not too useful to some of us.

Necromancy.
i type this as i suckle at your mother's anus.
As the stereotype goes, you are a typically obnoxious apple user.
Of course there are uses for this. Millions of people in a country do not overshadow the billions of people in the rest of the world.
What about Chinese to English? Surely that would be of more value?
Either way, you can make your point without betraying your lack of social skills, and I suggest you try it in the future.
This is neat and all, but why did they choose croatian? Why not start with something more useful?
