You don't have to love it. i'm just saying that if you use it and you're content then how is it a piece of crap ? You've obviously considered the pro's and cons and decided that this is the best phone for you at this time
The antenna is piece of crap, because when I hold my phone in my hand it loses signal. It is not a subjective feeling.
I haven't decided it is the best phone for me. I just happen to have one when my other phone broke. I'll get something else when I feel the time is right. There never was a decision: hm, what is the best phone for me? Oh it is iPhone!
I don't get why I should love or hate a piece of electronics. I have an iPhone 4, which I currently use daily. It has a crappy antenna, over simplified UI, is shaped like a piece of glass and every n00b owns one. Still I can get by with it and since I code stuff for iOS, I can show people what I've done.
What do you care about it?
I guess I could fall in love with an Android, but it would have to be Cherry 2000. Unfortunately those are limited edition and hard to find.
I saw something like this from Nokias research guys last fall in Amsterdam Symbian conference. They didn't have it mounted on the shoulder predator style and it was running on a Symbian phone so I guess it's not as cool...
Can't find a link for it...
I guess I missed my point. Google is spending money on Android, but gets no direct revenue from it that it wouldn't get anyway. Only reason it makes sense for Google to do this is that other platform makers could try to close or obstruct the advertising revenue from Google, which I think is very unlikely scenario.
I guess you can solve local connectivity with p2p, but I don't think it gives you more bandwidth. Transmitters are still sharing a resource.

Well to get your nerd credentials renewed you need to buy N9, it has MeeGo/Harmattan. Of course it works better than Windows. After all it is powered by *drum roll* LINUX!!! (is there anything it can't do?)
You know what is really funny. It seems that just about everybody is making money off Android except Google. Sure they show some ads, but they show them to everybody.
For others it's like pirate code, more of a guide line.
Apples claim that Samsung injected its patents into standards is ridiculous. That's what all members of standard organizations do and that's why members have agreed heed by FRAND.
helped me, yet again, realize how little I understand quantum physics.

Now don't get me started about my car....

Still is... down right piece of crap. What is your point?
So you what you are saying is that 50% of people know how to program?
I'm a programer, porgrammar, programmar, damn it, I'm a coder and I write code
Please bring me my silver coated mittens James, and some Grey Popon for my caviar, I need to make a phone call!
I need to get myself one of those white N9 phones... Having an Apple or Microsoft phone ruins my geek karma

Of course Steve Jobs day is decided by bunch of n00bs.
As a happy iPhone 4 owner I'd say: maybe less Crappy, but still mired in crap.
The iPhone 4S will remain a tribute to Steve Jobs and the lasting impact he has left on the tech community.
Lasting impact in tech world? Do we count it in weeks or months?
Why wouldn't they do that if they can?
Us emacs coders play soccer in our spare time.
They will just leave marvin there.
Belly flop?

Does that make Nokia Han Solo?

And made in china components...
Nobody wants a physical keyboard, grandpa.
So, could these neutrinos escape from a black hole?
