For me, it's less a question of "is it me?". It's more a question of "is there a me?". My goal with cryonics is to try to ensure that something of me survives into the far future. It's less important to me, for it to actually be me, than for a me to exist. Any copy of me would be quite happy to be alive in the future, and as such I believe that I should make that happen if I can.

On a side note... I feel like anyone who hasn't made cryonics arrangements is essentially commiting suicide at the time of their death.

I liked standing up while working, I also paced around, and would lay down when I wanted. For A couple of months I removed all of the chairs from my house, and it was almost impossible for me to zone out. Now the chairs are back, and I'm sitting as I type this. I had better posture when I was standing all the time. Maybe I'll take them away again. The biggest problem was finding or rigging high enough work surfaces.

If you are using a crappy sensor it reads the light 1 row at a time, transfering the rows information before it gets the next row. You can see this on a camera phone as you wave it around and verticle or horizontal lines become curved or slanted.

If you are using a good sensor the information is captured all at once, and then read out over time so that the entire image was captured simultaneously. A sensor like this is like a memory device that is filled by magic, and wiped all at once. You can read from it as slowly as you'd like. the 1/2000th of a second is the time between the device being charged, and the state of each pixel being frozen. This tells you nothing about the bulk transfer rate unless you can actually capture 2000 pictures in 1 second, and I highly doubt that.
