But fighting companies as large as CBS is VERY EXPENSIVE and time consuming. I can not blame them for not wanting to risk everything they own.

  4. This is not true. It is often used for commercial transactions to confirm value, but never with charities. And as they did not charge, they could be called a charity (not for tax purposes) and gifted the license with restrictions.

  5. Amazon Prime Video. I have enjoyed there productions quite a bit. The Tick was amazing!

  6. If course a no cost license agreement for them to continue would actually strengthen their trademark. More than this, actually as it is a formal recognition and agreement. This is less effective at defending trademark and pisses off their best customers.

Well that is new. I bought a single desktop support just last year. I am betting you could buy it if you called. I also bet it will return to the website if a lot of people call! :)

All of the major distributions offer paid commercial support. And there are independent businesses that also support Linux. It is only if you want free support that you need to talk with "impatient volunteers lacking people skills."

No, what transit is supposed to do is move people from place to place. And individual transit does that better.

What does that have to do with mass transit? People simply die without access to affordable food. Hence grocery stores for most people, catering for the rich people, and meal ingredient delivery stores for the upper middle class. Doesn't relate at all to the economics and politics of mass transit.

If you look at what the stores actually stock, it is well beyond purely survival level. They provide what the market wants. What the market does not want is poor quality mass transit. If it did, someone would provide it. What it wants is easy and directed individual transit. Which is what Uber, Lyft, and traditional Taxis provide. And they are doing very well at it.
